IIST B Tech Avionics/Aerospace Engineering Admissions 2009

The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvavanthapuram (Deemed University), under Department of Space, Government of India, offers the following undergraduates B Tech programme in Avionics, Aerospace Engineering

* B.Tech Avionics students will have provision to specialize in Digital Electronics, RF and Microwaves, Control Systems, Software Engineering etc.

* B.Tech Aerospace Engineering students will have provision to specialize in Flight Dynamics, Aerospace Structures, Machine Design and Manufacturing Technology etc.

* B.Tech Physical Sciences deals with Space applications in the areas of Astronomy, Earth System Science, Astro-Physics, Planetary Sciences and Remote Sensing


Eligibility & Admission Process
* Candidates placed in the Regular and Extended Merit List of IIT-JEE 2009 are eligible to register their names online during the period 4th June to 26th June 2009.

* Based on the online registration and in the order of merit, a combined list of students from the Regular Merit List and Extended List will be generated. Those who have opted for any programme in any of the IITs or the affiliated instistutions like IT BHU Varanasi, ISMU Dhanbad, etc will not be included in the IIST Merit List. Extant Reservation Policy of the Govt. as applicable to Institutions of Higher Learning will be followed.

* Allocation of seats will be based on Personal Counselling to be held on 20th & 21st July 2009 at Thiruvananthapuram.

Dates to Remember-:
4th - 26th June 2009 - Online Registration of students placed in the IIT-JEE 2009 Merit List.
29th June 2009 - Publication of Merit List for Counselling in IIST Website.
20th & 21st July 2009 - Counselling at Thiruvananthapuram and issue of Admit card.
24th & 25th August 2009 - Admission formalities at Thiruvananthapuram.
26th August 2009 First Semester Classes begin.

although i m writting correct details 4 entrance into IIST ,the computer is saying my details doesnt match with that of in JEE data base.how can i send my application now?

i just want to know about m.tech programme in avionics is provided or not and if so we have to write any entrance or direct admission is there?
