Central Institute of Plastic Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Chennai, invites applications for admissions to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Master of Technology (M.Tech), Diploma & PG Diploma programmes, commencing in 2014.

CIPET is the premier national Institution fully devoted to Academic, Technology Support & Research (ATR) activities for the growth of Polymer & allied industries in the country.

The programmes are offered in:

* Diploma in Plastics Technology
* Diploma in Plastics Mould Technology
* Post Diploma in Plastic Mould Design with CAD/CAM
* Post Graduate Diploma in Plastics Processing & Testing
* M.E / M.Tech in Plastics Engineering / Technology
* M.Tech in Polymer Nano Technology
* M.E in CAD/CAM
* M.Sc. Tech (Material Science & Engineering)
* B.E / B.Tech in Plastics Engineering / Technology
* B.E / B.Tech in Manufacturing Engineering / Technology

Eligibility:

For Diploma: Candidates should have passed Class 10 or school secondary level examination with English and Science and Maths as compulsory papers from any recognized board of examination.

For B.Tech: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Maths from any of the recognised board of examination.

For PG Diploma: Candidates must have three year Degree in Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects for Plastics Processing & Testing discipline or 3 year Diploma in Mechanical, Plastics Technology, Tool/Production Engineering, Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering, Tool & Die Making, DPMT/DPT (CIPET) or equivalent for Plastics Mould Design with CAD/CAM.

For M.Tech: B.E./B.Tech. (4 years) in Mechanical, Plastics Engineering / Technology / Polymer / Chemical (or) M.Sc., in Polymer Chemistry / Polymer Science / Physics / Chemistry.

Selection Procedure:

CIPET programs- based on academic record and performance in the Joint Entrance Examination.

For PG programs- selection through respective affiliating University norms / through CIPET JEE.

For UG programs- selection through respective affiliating University as per their norms.

Information brochure and application form can also be obtained from any of CIPET Centres against payment of Rs. 100/- for general candidates and Rs. 25/- for SC/ST candidates in cash or demand draft, drawn in favour of "CIPET" payable at Chennai.

Last date for the submission of application form is 13th June 2014.

Joint Entrance Examination would be held on 13th July 2014.

University of Delhi M.Tech. Chemical Synthesis and Process Technologies

Department of Chemistry is launching a new exciting Three-year M.Tech. program in Chemical Synthesis and Process Technologies From the Academic Year 2008-2009

Application procedure: Application form is available from the office of the Head, Department of Chemistry, University of Delhi on all working days between 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on cash payment of Rs. 200/- + Bank draft of Rs. 800/- in favour of Registrar, University of Delhi, as Entrance Examination Fee.

Application form can also be downloaded from the University website : http://www.du.ac.in, which can be deposited in the Deptt. of Chemistry, along with a Bank Draft of Rs. 1,000/- in favour of Registrar, University of Delhi.

Draft must be purchased only from the Branches of State Bank of India.
