Tamilnadu Agricultural University is a leading agrotechnology provider of India and its graduates are recognized throughout the world. Though the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) came into being on June 1, 1971, it had its genesis from establishment of an Agricultural School at Saidapet, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India as early as 1868 which was later relocated at Coimbatore during 1906.
The University is offering Twelve Undergraduate Degree Programs and Twenty nine Postgraduate Degree Programs in 10 Colleges distributed in seven campuses all over Tamil Nadu. Besides, the University has 36 Research Stations for agrotechnology development

The filled in application has to be sent to the Dean on or before June 09, 2009 for the current admission. The same application can be used for applying to all 12 undergraduate programs of TNAU. The application can also be downloaded online. The downloaded application should be printed in a laser printer for use. The filled in downloaded application should be attached with necessary application fee of Rs. 600 (Rs.300 for SC/ST) as Demand Draft drawn in favor of Dean.
