XAT 2018 Application Process

XAT 2018 is also referred as Xavier Aptitude Test. It is the university level entrance exam, which is organized by the XLRI (Xavier Labour Relations Institute) on the behalf of XAMI. XAT exam is conducted for the admission in more than 150 B-Schools of the country. The exam is the gateway for admission in management courses. For more than 60 years XLRI is organizing XAT exam at all India level basis.

XAT 2018 will be conducted on Sunday, January 7, 2018. XLRI conducts XAT on behalf of the XAMI. For more than 60 years XLRI is conducting XAT at all India level to select the most appropriate students for management education. The XAT score is being used by more than 150 institutes for the admission.

XAT 2018 would be conducted across India in the following cities. Applicants should note that registration for XAT 2018 and appearing for XAT 2018 is the preliminary step towards applying to XLRI and XAT Associate Institutes. Applicants to different institutes, besides XLRI have to apply separately to Institutes of their choice.

Applicants for XAT 2018 can choose to pay online using credit card/ debit card/ online banking. Candidates can also make payment through a demand draft made from any bank (in favour of XLRI Jamshedpur). Third alternative for making payment can be “cash”. This can be done from any of the IDBI Bank branches located in India to make payment for XAT 2018

XAT will be conducted by XLRI on behalf of Xavier Association of Management Institute- XAMI on Sunday, January 5,2014 .

Eligibility : The candidate must hold a recognised Bachelor's Degree in any discipline or complete by June 10, 2014

After initial registration on www.xatonline.net.in a candiate receives XATID. Make online payment using XATID through VISA/MASTER credit/debit card (or IDBI Net banking) for an amount of Rs 950/- (Rs. 650/- for SC/ST candidate)

or

A candidate can register for XAT through cash payment. using XATID candidates has to download the XAT pay-in-slip and deposit a non-refundable amount of Rs. 950/- (Rs. 650/- for SC/ST candidate) in the requested IDBI Bank branch. The transaction number provided by the bank needs to be entered in the XAT registration page

or

A candidate can also register for XAT through demand draft (DD) for Rs. 950/- (Rs. 650/- for SC/ST candidate) drawn in favour of 'XLRI Jamshedpur A/c XAT" payable at jamshedpur and then enter the DD details on the XAT registration site. Eligibility:
For BM & HRM programmes:
Candidates who have completed three years of Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline by a recognized appropriate authorities / Association of Indian Universities are eligible to apply. Those completing their final examination by June 10, 2013 may also apply.

For GMP:
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline by a recognized appropriate authorities / Association of Indian Universities. He/She should be employed in a full-time job and must have at least five years of managerial experience as on March 31, 2013 after completion of graduation.

For FPM:

XAT 2013 Know New Format of Exam

XAT 2013(Xavier's Aptitude Test) conducted by XLRI is scheduled to see some major changes in the pattern form 2013.

The duration of the test has been extended to three hours instead of of earlier 2.20 hours and a section on general awareness has also been added. the exam will remain in the pen and paper format and will be conducted in a single day.

The exam will have two parts, the first part will have multiple-choice question on three sections-data interpretation and quantitative ability,analytical reasoning and decision making,verbal ability and logical reasoning. The time allotted for this section is 2:20 hours. The second part will have easy writing and general awareness and time allotted for this is 40 minutes.

XLRI New Campus in NCR

XLRI New Campus in NCR

Xavier Labour Relations Institute-XLRI, a premier private business school in India, will come out with a new campus in the National Capital Region (NCR) by the end of 2014, an official said here on Saturday.

The new campus will have 120 seats. The renowned B-school would also increase the number of seats in its Jamshedpur campus to 360 from the existing 240 seats in the next year.

XLRI is also launching a global MBA programme, in partnership with Weatherhead School of Management of Case Western University Cleveland, USA and School of Economics and Management of Tongji University Shanghai, China

XAT will be held on Sunday, January 06, 2013 in 38 cities across the country and 3 cities outside India for all the programmes (BM, HRM, FPM and GMP).

To Apply :
Register for XAT through online payment using credit card/debit card for an amount of Rs.950/- (Rs.650/- for SC/ST candidates). He/she then has to send the XAT confirmation page (that has to be downloaded after registering for XAT) to XAT Office, XLRI, C H Area (East), Jamshedpur- 831001

Register for XAT through cash payment. After successfully completing the registration, the candidate has to download the XAT pay-in-slip. XLRI MS in Positive Organization Development and Change

The Master of Science Program in Positive Organization Development and Change (or MPOD), pioneered by the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, USA), is now being offered for the first time in India in partnership with XLRI Jamshedpur. It is specifically geared toward the needs of executives and change agents from around the world who face a torrent of continual change, increasing complexity, and growing interconnectedness in multicultural contexts; and who must respond to these challenges in ways that yield economic value for their organizations while upholding standards of environmental and social responsibility.

To enable busy executives to attend this program MPOD will be conducted in 6 modules spread over 15 months. The modules will be conveniently spaced 10 to 12 weeks apart-thereby making the program flexible.

Each module will be of four to seven days' duration. Four of these modules will be held at XLRI Jamshedpur or other Indian locations. The final two modules will be held back-to-back over a fortnight at Weatherhead's CWRU campus in Cleveland.
The intervening periods between program modules will involve project work, self-study, and online guidance by the program faculty at XLRI and Weatherhead.

Xavier Aptitude Test-XAT 2012

Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) will be conducted on January 8, 2012. The test would be coordinated by XLRI Jamshedpur on behalf of Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI), an association of like minded institutes. Apart from the 16 core member institutes mentioned, more than 70 associate member institutes located in different parts of the country select students on basis of XAT scores. XAT 2010 Application Procedure

XLRI Jamshedpur is conducting Admission Test XAT 2010 on all India level to select the most appropriate students for management education.
There are more than 60 Management Institutes who are selecting students from XAT 2010Applicants desirous of joining XLRI or any other institutions have to appear for XAT 2010.

XAT Bulletin & XLRI Prospectus can be obtained from 120 Branches of Axis Bank or from the XAT Office / Admissions Office, XLRI, Circuit House Area (East), Jamshedpur, 831001.

XAT 2010 will be conducted on 3rd January 2010 in the following 33 cities; Test Timings: 10.00 am to 12.30 pm

Procedure for XAT Registration and obtaining XAT Bulletin from Axis Bank

A candidate has to first register for XAT at www.xlri.edu and then only he / she can obtain XAT Bulletin from select branches of Axis Bank.
1. XAT Registration: In order to register online for XAT, the candidate has to visit the website www.xlri.edu and click "XAT Registration". The XAT Registration page opens up wherein he/she has to fill-in the online XAT form. The information to be provided includes the nearest Axis Bank branch name from where he/she intends to buy the XAT Bulletin 2010, personal details, educational details, work experience etc.
2. Select XAT Associate Institute: The candidate has to then select the names of XAT Associate Institutes. (View list of XAT Associate Institutes).
3. XAT ID and Password: After successful submission of the form, the candidate will immediately get his/her XAT ID and password (which is automatically generated by the system). XAT ID and password needs to be retained by the candidate for future correspondence with XAT Office, downloading XAT Admit card and other transactions at www.xlri.edu website.
4. Download XAT Pay-in-slip: Next, the candidate has to download the XAT Pay-in-slip. The pay-in-slip will have the date of registration, name of the Axis Bank branch, XAT Pay-in-slip No, XAT ID, name of the candidate, address and phone number printed on it. The printed pay-in-slip is in three parts. You have to take all these three parts of the pay-in-slip to the Axis Bank branch.
5. Go to Axis Bank Branch: The candidate has to take this downloaded XAT Pay-in-slip to the Axis Bank branch to buy the XAT Bulletin. On tendering Rs 800.00 (cost of XAT Bulletin) along with the printed pay-in-slip, the bank will issue a XAT Bulletin 2010 and enter the XAT Bulletin number, date of purchase and Bank Tran ID and put a bank seal on each part of the pay-in-slip. The bank will retain the Bank’s copy of the pay-in-slip with them and return the rest of the pay-in-slip to the candidate.
6. Fill the Detachable Form: The candidate has to go through the XAT Bulletin thoroughly. After doing so, he/she has to fill-in the detachable form given in the XAT Bulletin. All entries are to be filled-in correctly and should be same as that filled in the online form. Candidate has to paste his/her passport size colour photograph and put his/her signature in the space provided.
7. Attach Pay-in-slip: The candidate has to then attach the XLRI’s copy of the pay-in-slip in the space provided on the form. The candidate’s copy of the pay-in-slip is to be carefully retained by the candidate for future reference, if any.
8. Send to XAT Office: The candidate has to then carefully detach the form from the XAT Bulletin and send it to XAT Office, Jamshedpur through registered post/courier/speed post in the special envelope given inside the XAT Bulletin. This form along with the pay-in-slip should reach the XAT Office, XLRI, Circuit House Area (East), Jamshedpur-831001 within seven days from the date of purchase of XAT Bulletin.
9. Download Admit Card: For Admit Card, the candidate has to visit our website www.xlri.edu, anytime from 18 December 2009 to 31 December 2009 and take a print out of the same where the address of the test centre will be mentioned.


Procedure for obtaining XAT Bulletin from XAT Office, XLRI Jamshedpur and procedure for XAT Registration

1. Get a Demand Draft: A candidate has to make a demand draft drawn in favour of "XLRI Jamshedpur A/c XAT" for Rs. 850/- (Rupees Eight Hundred Fifty Only) payable at Jamshedpur
2. XAT Registration: The candidate has to then visit the website www.xlri.edu and click “XAT Registration”. The XAT Registration page opens up wherein the candidate has to fill-in the online XAT form. The information to be provided includes demand draft number, date of draft drawn, personal information, educational details, work experience etc.
3. Select XAT Associate Institute: The candidate has to then select the names of XAT Associate Institutes (View list of XAT Associate Institutes).
4. XAT ID and Password: After successful submission of the form, the candidate will immediately get his/her XAT ID and password (which is automatically generated by the system). XAT ID and password needs to be retained by the candidate for future correspondence with XAT Office, downloading XAT Admit card and other transactions at www.xlri.edu website.
5. Download XAT PP Form: After getting the XAT ID and password, the candidate has to download the XAT PP Form. It has space for photograph and signature.
6. Send the DD and Form: The candidate has to paste his/her recent passport size colour photograph and put his/her signature in the designated space provided on the XAT PP Form. Mention your XAT ID and your name on the reverse of the DD. The candidate has to enclose the demand draft along with the XAT PP Form and send it by registered post/speed post/courier so as to reach XAT Office, XLRI, Circuit House Area (East), Jamshedpur-831001 within seven days of DD issue date.
7. Mailing Bulletin to Candidate: XAT office, XLRI Jamshedpur will send the XAT Bulletin 2010 after receiving the XAT PP Form & DD for Rs 850/-. Candidates are not required to send the detachable form given inside the bulletin.
8. Keeping a copy of XAT ID & Password: The candidate is advised to keep a copy of demand draft, printout of XAT ID and password for future correspondence with XAT Office, downloading XAT Admit Card and other transaction at www.xlri.edu website.
9. Download Admit Card: For Admit Card, the candidate has to visit our website www.xlri.edu, anytime between 18 December 2009 and 31 December 2009 and take a print out of the same where the address of the test centre will be mentioned.
