Total Seats - 40 (30 from Open Market, 10 in-service candidates sponsored by Banks/MFIs/NGOs etc)
Eligibility - Graduates in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks (relaxations applicable as per GOI policies). Weightage will be given to women candidates and candidates who have studied up to Class X in rural areas. However, candidates applying from the Open Market category must possess a valid CAT score which is not required for in-service candidates.
Age Limit - Upto 25 years as on 1st July, 2011 (30 years for in-service).
Selection Process - Candidates will be shortlisted based on CAT scores followed by Group discussions and Interview

Advanced Diploma in Banking Technology
Established in 2002, PNBIIT is an independent society set up by Punjab National Bank and registered under societies Registration Act to promote training and education in BFI Sector with focus on IT.
Objectives : With the evolution of CBS in Banks there is a dearth of qualified IT Professionals with twin skills of Banking and IT. To bridge this gap PNBIIT offers Advanced Diploma in Banking Technology aimed at creating a well equipped pool of techno-bankers for Banking and IT sector.
The six months Certification Programme “Advanced Diploma in Banking Technology (ADBT)” of pnbiit for B.Tech (IT & CS) and MCA pass outs was started in 2007 with focus on industry relevant core IT and inputs of banking including operational areas to serve as a bridge between academia and industry.
The ADBT is aimed at creating a pool of competent techno-bankers for Banking & IT Sector by imparting in-depth knowledge and expertise to the students through innovative learning supported by extensive hands - on experience in labs as well as at Bank’s branches, Data Centre and Other Offices. By bridging the gap between industry and academia, ADBT aims at creating Techno Bankers
