The Jindal Global Business School (JGBS) has successfully launched its new five-year Integrated BBA and MBA degree Programme.

The objective of the Integrated BBA-MBA 5-year Degree programme is to enable students to embark upon a management career after completing 10+2 level examination. The programme provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of business management and the opportunity to pursue chosen areas of specialization. The design and delivery of this integrated program is innovative and unique. It will equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to compete successfully for challenging positions in industry, government, non-profit organizations and civil services. This programme will create excellent managers and also instill the spirit of entrepreneurship so that the students evolve into leaders and wealth creators in the years to come.

The integrated BBA-MBA 5year Degree programme will have two semesters per year during the first three years. In the fourth year there will be three trimesters where specialization courses will be taught. And in the fifth year, students have two options as said below :

* Submission of a dissertation and participation in an action learning programme (ALP) with industry

S P Jain's BBA program is a uniquely crafted, four-year program for undergraduates. Candidates study at S P Jain's campuses in three dynamic cities - the first year in Singapore, followed by a year in Dubai and two years in Sydney. * Master of Global Business-MGB
S P Jain's MGB is a uniquely crafted sixteen-month program (including a four-month internship) that immerses students in the business culture of two dynamic cities - Dubai and Singapore. The MGB is specially designed for graduates with little or no work experience (less than three years) to help them acquire the knowledge and skill sets required for a great career in global business.

* Global Master of Business Administration-GMBA
The GMBA program is designed for executives who wish to take as little time off work as possible, and who wish to return to corporate employment as soon as possible. The curriculum is the same as a traditional two-year program, but delivered in a compact time frame with fewer holidays. Participants spend four months each in at S P Jain's campuses Sydney, Dubai, and Singapore. Here they study first-hand about diverse business practices and cultures in these regions. Participants learn to appreciate, accept, and adapt to a multinational state of mind.

* Executive Education
S P Jain has set up Centers for Executive Education, Center for Leadership and Center for Human Resources at Dubai and Singapore.

Top Global B-schools MBA Programmes Now Accept GRE
Five of the top 10 MBA programmes in the world now accept the GRE® General Test, according to the Financial Times' Global MBA rankings for 2009 and Educational Testing Service (ETS). These are China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), Harvard (2+2 Program), Instituto De Empresa (IE), MIT Sloan and Stanford.

Canada's Queen's School of Business, ranked by BusinessWeek as the best MBA in the world outside the United States, also accepts the GRE test.

More than 190 business schools from across the globe — including many top-ranked MBA programmes in Europe, Asia and North America — are part of a growing trend of MBA programmes that are seeking to broaden and diversify their candidate pools by accepting GRE test scores.

Last month, Harvard Business School (HBS) announced that it will accept GRE scores for admission into its 2+2 programme.
