IGNOU Course in Diabetes Care

Indira Gandhi National Open University-IGNOU has started a certificate course in diabetes care.
The six-month Certificate Programme in Diabetes Care for Community Workers has been developed to build up a workforce to work in diabetic clinics, health centres at community level and in hospital diabetic clinics. The first session will start by July end.

The programme will give or upgrade knowledge about diabetes, its management and complications and prevention. It will help the workers to learn various skills for assessment and care of the diabetic patient and their family members
