Xavier Institute of Social Service-XISS Ranchi PGDM Programmes 2012

Application are invited through XAT for Two-year Full-time Post Graduate Diploma Management in:

* PGDM-Human Resource Management
* PGDM-Rural Management
* PGDM-Information Technology
* PGDM-Finance
* PGDM-Marketing

Eligibility :
Minimum qualification for admission to the two years full-time post-graduate management programs - PGDM at the Institute is three / four years bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST) in any discipline recognized by Association of Indian Universities. However preference will be given to Engineering, Economics, Commerce, Management and Computer Science graduates and candidates with relevant work experience.

Candidates appearing for final year or final semester of their graduate degree examination in academic year 2011-12 are also eligible to appear for the admission process. Such candidates, if called for interview, should submit the copy of admit card or a letter from the principal of the college where they are studying to that effect. Such candidates if finally selected at XISS, Ranchi must clear their Graduation examination with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST) by August 2012.

A candidate desirous of seeking admission in the Institute will have to appear in an all India level management admission test organized by XLRI Jamshedpur (XAT 2012 on January 8th 2012. For admission to batches 2012-14, scores of only XAT 2012 will be accepted. Candidates will have to apply online for appearing in XAT 2012 by visiting www.xatonline.net.in and will have to select XISS as affiliated institute.

Based on XAT 2012 scores, candidates who have applied for admission at the institute will be shortlisted and will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview to be held at the institute premises in the month of April 2011.

Invites applications for admission to the following AICTE approved academic Programmes for the year 2010

1) Two year full-time programme for Post-Graduate Diploma in Management 2010-12

Full Time PGDM
Eligibility : Minimum 3 year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline. Final year degree students, completing their final examinations by June 15, 2010 may also apply.

Admission Test (XAT): All applicants will have to appear for the Admission Test to be conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur, on 3rd January, 2010. For this applicants have to log on to www.xlri.edu and apply online for XAT, before separately applying to XIMB.

2) Two-year full-time programme for Post-Graduate Diploma in Rural Management 2010-12

Full Time PGDM (RM)

Eligibility : Minimum 3 year Bachelor's degree (for equivalent) in any discipline. Final year degree students, completing their final examinations by June 15, 2010 may also apply.

Admission Test (IRMA or XAT): Applicants will have to appear for one of the following Admission Tests. a) The Test to be conducted by Institute of Rural Management, Anand on 8th November, 2009 or b) XAT to be conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur on 3rd January, 2010. Apply for one of the tests before separately applying to XIMB.

3) Three year part time programme for Postgraduate Diploma in Management 2010-13.

Part time PGDM

There are no paper-based application forms for seeking admission to XIMB
The application fee (Rs.1000/- for each programme) may be paid after filling the online application, as instructed therein.
