India's largest IT Scholarship Program— '19th Bhavishya Jyoti Scholarship Test' will be conducted on Sunday, September 13, 2009 by leading Global Talent Development Corporation, NIIT, across the country.
The 19-year old Annual Scholarship program rewards fee waivers to meritorious students and graduates desirous of building successful careers in diverse industries that require Information Technology skills. NIIT plans to offer scholarship to the students in the country, this year, based on their performance in class XIIth score and personal interview. For select career programs, scholarships will be awarded based on their performance in the competitive written test, personal interview and Class XIIth score.
The application forms for the test are available at NIIT education centers across the country. Students can also log on to www.niit.com/bjs2009 to get more details. The last date for receipt of application is September 12, 2009.
With the theme of 'Have Something Bigger to Celebrate', this year's program will offer Merit based fee waiver of up to Rs. 34,000 on NIIT's IT training programs. This is NIIT's gesture to enhance employability of meritorious students and make them job ready to meet the industry needs. As a part of the high aptitude community, they also get to pursue Global Vendor Certification backed program and get the benefit of collaborative learning.
Students who have completed their Class XIIth or equivalent, those currently pursuing graduation and/or completed graduation in any stream, and Polytechnic diploma holders are eligible for NIIT Bhavishya Jyoti Scholarships. The scholarship will be offered on a wide range of NIIT programs including GNIIT, NIIT Edgeineers and NIIT Globalnet+.

This is nothing but a big hoax the people of india so far could not understand. First try to determine who are the faculties to the subjects that are taught in NIIT. I have been victim of this so I write; please beware of these gimmicks. They collect huge database of possible candidates from this exercise and then keep on pursuing with them to join their courses. The faculties are inexperienced and have never worked on the technology they are teaching. It is just the transfer of the knowledge from notebook of the faculty to the notebook of the students without going into the brains of either. You put some difficulties to the faculty a little out of way than has been taught to him, the faculty directly surrenders and agrees that he has never worked. How come a single faculty may teach so many subjects in a day if he / she has been actually working on some particular technology. This is impossible. In the recruitment ads also you will see that NIIT recruits fresher as faculty. A faculty is paid around 5000 - 10000 as salary. Compare this with an expert's salary in actual field which is not less than at least 20000. Please beware of such gimmicks. The discount is nothing but the hoax. The course itself costs at less than the discounted price and is of no worth in the industry. Just use your wisdom before falling prey to these business tactics and spread the awareness. thanks

This is a bullshit.
Its there trick to get more students for course and hence they will get fees. i am not joking. i am a person who was impressed by this name as 'scholarship' and attended that and got 1st in one center of NIIT (80mrks out of 90) and they r saying they will not provide any certificate atleast for geting nice marks. is this called scholarship actually? atleast a 100rs cash award will do for a scholarship rite? NIIT sucks!
