Invites nominations for the following National Awards

1.National Award for Child Welfare

Presented to three individuals and five institutions who have rendered best work for the cause of children.

a) Rs. 1 lakh to each individual
b) Rs. 3 lakhs to each institution


2. Rajiv Gandhi Manav Sewa Award

Presented to three individuals in the fields of child development and child welfare who have made outstanding contribution towards service for children. Rs One lakh to each individual.

The last date of receipt of completed nomination forms as per the Scheme by the Ministry of Women and Child Development is 31st December, 2009.
