School of Energy management was started by MDI Gurgaon with the support of Ministry of Power and USAID. The School offers PGDM (Energy Management) under the National Management Programme. The programme is of 15 months duration; 12 months are residential and 3 months in respective organizations for dissertation work.

Thrust of the Programme :

Develop talent for Power and Energy Sector of India and equip participants with knowledge in the discipline of management.
Acquaint participants with national and international best practices and innovations in community-based participative models.
Facilitate awareness, understanding and implementation of key provisions of enactments relating to Power and Energy Sector.

Eligibility :

Three-year Bachelor's Degree in any discipline recognized by AIU / AICTE.
Minimum 5 years of post qualification executive work experience in the Energy Sector in central / state / private / other organizations as on 30th June, 2010.
For self sponsored candidates age should not be more than 32 years as on 30 June, 2010.
For sponsored candidates age should not be more than 45 years as on 30 June, 2010.

Admission Procedure :

Candidates will have to appear for a screening test conducted by MDI, Gurgaon.
Date of the Test : Sunday 14 February, 2010.
Centres of the Test : Gurgaon, Bangalore, Mumbai and Kolkata.

Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the interview.
