Amrita University, Tamil Nadu, invites applications form the eligible candidates for admission to Engineering (B.Tech) programmes at Amritapuri, Bangalore and Coimbatore campuses, commencing in 2014.

Amrita University is set to conduct Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE) 2014 for admission to B.Tech programmes.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is conducting its Engineering Entrance Examination every year on an all India basis for admission to the 4 year B.Tech. Degree programmes offered in the three campuses at Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru and Ettimadai (Coimbatore). Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria will be admitted to the first year of 4 year B.Tech. programmes through counselling, based on their ranks in the Entrance Examination.

Eligibility: Candidates date of birth should be on or after 01st July 1993.Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination and securing an aggregate of 60% of marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from any of the recognised board of examinations.

OR Candidates must have passed three year Diploma in Engineering with minimum of 60% of marks, awarded by any of the State Board of Technical Education.

To Apply :The application form can be downloaded from the official website of Amrita University.The filled application form along with DD of Rs 1,000/- drawn in favor of "Amrita School of Engineering", should be payable at Coimbatore.Application form can also be obtained directly from the campuses by paying Rs 1,000/- in cash.

Please Note: Applications are processed at Coimbatore campus. Hence all B.Tech. applications shall be sent to the Coimbatore Campus only.

Last date for the issue of application form on 21st March 2014.

Last date for receiving for completed application form on 24th March 2014.

AEEE 2014 entrance test will be held on 13th April 2014.

Age: Candidates born on or after 1st July, 1992 are only eligible.

Educational Qualification : A pass in the final examination of 10+2 (class XII) or its equivalent securing 60% or above marks in Mathematics, 55% or above separately in Physics & Chemistry with an aggregate of60% in the three subjects. Or, A three year Diploma in Engineering with minimum 60% marks, awarded by any State Board of Technical Education.

Amrita School of Engineering B.Tech Entrance Exam 2011

Amrita School of Engineering (ASE) has announced that the Amrita Entrance Examination 2011 will be conducted on April 17, 2011 for admission into various B.Tech engineering programmes.

The B.Tech engineering courses for which the test will be conducted include Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering

Candidates born on or after July 1, 1990 only are eligible to apply for admission.

The application form can be obtained by post, from the Admission Coordinators of ASE on a written request indicating their full communication address together with a Demand Draft for Rs.850/- drawn in favor of Amrita School of Engineering payable at Coimbatore. It can also be obtained from the university counter of Amrita Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore.

Candidates can also apply online with the payment gateway or apply through the website and submit the application printout duly signed, along with Demand Draft for Rs.850/- drawn in favor of Amrita School of Engineering payable at Coimbatore and a passport size color photograph affixed in the specified location.

The last date for the sale and submission of application forms is March 25, 2011.
