For Admission to : Ground and flying training to Ab-Initio for the issue of a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) (15 months, which may get extended) with multi-engine endorsement and instrument rating at Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Academi, Fursatganj Airfield, Raebareli (UP)- 229 302.

Eligibility : Passed 10 + 2 or its equivalent with physics, maths and English as main subjects with an aggregate of 55 percent in Physics and Maths (SC/ST/OBC candidates and general candidates having higher qualifications with Maths and Physics Subjects, minimum aggregate percent in Physics and Maths at 10+ 2 level is 50 percent). Minimum age limit is 17 years at the time of joining the course. Selection will be based on performance in the written test, pilot aptitude test (WOMBAT), viva and interview. The written test is one paper of two hours duration general English, Maths, Physics and reasoning (10+2 standard). Knowledge of physics, maths and English up to the level of 10+ 2 is required along with general awareness of current affairs and normal reasoning. Candidates who clear the written examination will undergo the pilot aptitude test and interview. Class I medical certificate is required before joining the course so that the students are in a position to start flying without further delay. Commercial Pilot License by Chimes Aviation Academy

The programme is specifically designed for potential students looking at pilot training and will offer practical education and training, on practices, legal and regulatory aspects of pilot training .The course module is spread over a period of 2 months and would include 15 hours of Single Engine flying along with the basic understanding of ground school procedures.
