Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) Aurangabad has invited applications for admission to Bachelor's of Arts (B.A) honours in Hotel Management and Culinary Arts programmes for the academic session 2015-16. The interested candidates can apply before May 30.

Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification:
The candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent examination, in a relevant stream, with English as the main subject, from a recognised university. The candidates who have appeared for board exams, this year are eligible to apply.

Selection procedure:
The candidates will be selected on the basis of: collective assessment, group discussion and interview.

Application fee:
An application fee of Rs 1,500 is to be paid by candidates for the registration process.

Important instructions and dates:

* All correspondence pertaining to admissions would be sent to the candidates electronically on registered email address

* Once the candidates has completed the admission process and received an offer from the institute, candidates should produce all original certificates for verification

* Candidates are not required to upload any documents or send hard copies unless specifically requested by the admissions officer

* Candidates must ensure not to furnish any information which could be falsified as this will lead to dismissal without any representation

* The candidates are not permitted to pursue any full time employment once admitted in the institute. They will provide adequate training in our ancillary hotel, Vivanta by Taj - Aurangabad

* If any discrepancies, this will be subject to the legal jurisdiction of Aurangabad (Maharashtra)

* The candidates can apply before May 30.

Mumbai University plans to offer new innovative courses from 2014 which include Film, TV and new media prouduction (BA Arts), BA in Culinary arts, MA in Entertainment media and Advertising, BSc in Human Sciences, MSc in renewable energy and Bcom in Investment Management.

especially for mature learners and entrepreneurs with no age restrictions

The 4-Year B.A (Hons.) Degree in Culinary Arts awarded by the University of Huddersfield, U.K. is designed to prepare students for careers in restaurants, hotels and commercial kitchens as Chef Managers and as entrepreneurs and Food Service Managers.
