MBA Programme At ABV-IIITM Admissions 2009

ADMISSION TO MBA PROGRAMME FOR ACADEMIC SESSION 2009-11

Candidates with valid CAT/JMET score and Bachelor degree in any branch of Engineering / Technology or Master Degree in Computer Applications (MCA) recognized by AICTE with at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade i.e., 6.75 CGPA on a 10 point scale, are eligible. Students appearing for their final examination in the academic session 2008-09 are also eligible to apply. Relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates is as per GOI rules.
The interviews will be conducted in Hyderabad,Bangalore & Guwahati on 13th June, 2009. (Saturday) Candidates desirous of seeking admission to MBA at ABV-IIITM, Gwalior (with CAT percentile 75 and above for General, 65 percentile for OBC and 55 percentile for SC/ST and in JMET 60 percentage and above for General, 50 percentage for OBC and 40 percentage for SC/ST) may download the application form from the institute’s web site www.iiitm.ac.in. Candidates who have applied earlier need not apply again.
Duly filled application form should be submitted to Assistant Registrar , ABV-IIITM, Morena Link Road, Gwalior, along with a bank draft of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/-for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favor of The Director, ABV-IIITM, Gwalior payable at Gwalior not later than 6 June,2009

Admissions open for MBA in Petroleum and Energy Management Program 2009

Eligibility Details:
1. Minimum 60% in aggregate (55% for SC/ST) in Class 10, Class 12. (Copies of passing certificates and Marksheets to be attached with the Application Receipt)
2. Bachelors degree (4 years duration after 10+2) with 65% marks or C.P.I. of 7.0 in any branch of Engineering/ Technology. Mathematics must be one of the subjects in 10+2. Bachelors Degree must have AICTE recognition. (Photocopy of degree or provisional degree and Marksheets of all semesters/years to be attached with the Application Receipt)
OR
Masters degree with 65% marks or C.P.I. of 7.0 in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Environmental Science, Applied Geological Sciences, Operational Research and Computational Science. (Photocopy of degree or provisional degree and Marksheets of all semesters/years to be attached with Application Receipt)
3 Should have Qualified either in CAT (Nov 08), JMET 09 or GMAT (After June 2008) (Copy of Admit Card & Score card to be attached alongwith the Application Receipt)
4. Shortlisted applicants based on merit will be invited for selection process comprising of Group discussion and personal interview. Reservation policy as per Government of India’s directives.
5. Students will be shortlisted based on their meritorious academic performance. Not all those satisfying the minimum requirement are likely to be shortlisted.

Ravenshaw University MBA Programme 2009

Admission to Two-Year Full-Time Residential MBA Programme 2009

Eligibility-:
A candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years’ duration (or equivalent) in any discipline from a recognized university. Candidates who expect to complete the final part of their degree examinations by June 15, 2009 may also apply. Offers of admission to such candidates, if made, will be provisional and will be automatically cancelled in the event of their failing to complete all the requirements before June 15, 2009 for obtaining the degree. A student after joining a programme in the university will not be permitted to sit for any examination of any other institution or agency.

Application procedure-:
The university has made an arrangement with the XLRI, Jamshedpur regarding using XAT scores for admission. The students are required to appear for XAT 2009 and see the details of procedure for applying for XAT from the website, www.xlri.edu. Candidates appearing CAT and MAT can also apply with scores obtained in the examination concerned for admission and their selection will be based on their relative scores.

In addition, applicants have to apply online in the prescribed format for admission to the MBA programme by logging on to http://www.ravenshawuniversity.com . They should provide their XAT roll number so that their score in XAT can be obtained from XLRI. Upon successfully filling the online application form the Admit Card and the Payment Advice Form with ID number will be generated. The candidate should take the printouts. The admit card should be produced during the GD and interview with photographs.

The Payment Advice Form should be duly filled in and sent along with a hard copy of the application and the account payee bank draft of Rs.500/- payable at Cuttack favouring “Ravenshaw University” so as to reach the Registrar, Ravenshaw University, Cuttack – 753003 on or before 28 February 2009
