NCHM JEE 2021 Application Process

The registration for NCHM JEE conducted by NTA  has started on February 3 and candidates can apply for the exam till May 10.The entrance examination will be conducted on June 12.

The entrance examination is conducted for admission to the BSc (Hospitality & Hotel Administration) course at the Institutes of Hotel Management (IHM) affiliated to the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHM&CT) for the academic year 2021-22 in Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode.

The Institutes affiliated to NCHMCT offer BSc(Hospitality & Hotel Administration) programme jointly with the Indira Gandhi National Open University. The three-year course equips students with all the required skills, knowledge and attitude to efficiently discharge supervisory responsibilities in the Hospitality sector.

The NCHM JEE score is accepted by all the participating institutes for admission to the BSc courses offered by their respective institutions.

The application fee prescribed for the general candidate is Rs 1000, Rs 700 for General EWS, and Rs 450 for SC/ST, PwD and transgender candidates.  

NTA will be conducting the NCHM JEE-2021 on 12th June 2021 in the Computer Based Mode.

National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology and its affiliated Institutes constantly endeavor to impart Hospitality, knowledge, skills, concepts and techniques in the right environment for the students to learn and emerge as global Hospitality Service providers.

Eligibility : A pass in 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.

NCHMCT 2014 B.Sc Hospitality and Hotel Administration

Applications are invited for B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration program which is offered jointly by the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology- NCHMCT and the Indira Gandhi National Open University.

The Bachelor of Science programme in Hospitality and Hotel Administration is offered jointly by the National Council for Hotel Management and the Indira Gandhi National Open University. The Three-Year programme equips students with all the required skills, knowledge and attitude to efficiently discharge supervisory responsibilities in the Hospitality sector. The programme also involves in-depth laboratory work for students to acquire required knowledge and skills standards in the operational areas of Food Production, Food and Beverage Service, Front Office Operation and House Keeping. The programme imparts substantial management inputs in area such as Sales and Marketing, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Hotel and Catering Law, Property Management, Entrepreneurship Development, Computers with special focus on Tourism Studies.


Eligibility : 10 + 2 OR equivalent (from a recognised board only) with English as a subject. Age as on 1st July 2014 22 Years for General / OBC / PD categories. & 25 Years for SC/ST categories.

Applications are invited for admission to Three Year (Six Semester) Degree in B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration Program.

Eligibility :
10+2 or equivalent with English as a subject.

Age as on 1st July, 2012 22 years for General / OBC / PH candidates and 25 years for SC / ST candidates.

Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in JEE 2012 on provisional basis. Provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted at the time of counselling or at the time of admission or latest by 30-09-2012.

Applications are invited for admission to the two-year full time M.Sc Hospitality Management Administration Program offered by the National Council for Hotel Management in collaboration with Indira Gandhi National Open University at Institutes of Hotel Management located at New Delhi (Pusa) and Bengaluru.

Eligibility :
B.Sc Degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from NCHMCT and IGNOU; or Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from AICTE approved Institutes affiliated with recognized Universities;

OR
Regular faculty from Institutes of Hotel Management affiliated to NCHMCT with two years of teaching experience and having good track record of teaching and possessing above eligibility can forward their application through Principal of the Institute, sponsored under Sabbatical Scheme of NCHMCT.

Seats available - 25 in each Institute
Selection - Selection shall be strictly on merit basis i.e. based on marks obtained in qualifying examinations.
Reservation of seats - As per Central Govt. Rules applicable to SC,ST,OBC & PH Categories.
Fellowship - Admitted candidates with 60% and above marks in qualifying examination will receive fellowship of Rs.7,000/- per month for 1st Semester (other details regarding continuation of fellowship and stipend for teaching assignments are given in the M.Sc Brochure 2011-13 which is displayed on Council's website)

CERTIFIED HOSPITALITY TRAINER (CHT) PROGRAM OPEN TO
HOSPITALITY ADMINISTRATION/ HOTEL MANAGEMENT GRADUATES

Candidates with B.Sc. Degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration (Ist Division) from NCHMCT-IGNOU or Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management (Ist Division) from Institutes approved by AICTE and affiliated to a recognized University may apply for enrollment to above program, which will begin from 15th January 2009 at:

Assistanceship up to Rs.4000/- per month to meet the cost of living shall be paid to the candidates who are enrolled to the program.
