Jindal Institute of Power Technology (JIPT) offers Post Graduate Programme in Thermal Power Technology . To cater the need of technically trained power plant professionals for Power Utilities of India and abroad. The intake capacity for the course is 120 seats for 2013-14


Eligibility :A full time BE / B. Tech. from a recognized Institute in Mechanical / Electrical / EEE / Electronics / Control & Instrumentation with a minimum of 60% marks in Class X, XII and BE / B. Tech.


To Apply: Application Form is available on JIPT website (www.jipt.org). The application form is to be filled online. Application Fee of Rs. 1000/- is to be paid through Bank Demand Draft (in favour of JIPT, payable at Raigarh). The candidates should send the demand draft along with a print copy of the duly filled in application form by Speed Post to Jindal Institute of Power Technology, Tamnar, Raigarh, Chhattisgarh – 496108.

The last date for receipt of application form and demand draft is 22nd September 2013.

The shortlisted candidates for the on spot admission shall be intimated on or before 23rd September 2013 through E-mail / Phone / Website.

* Post Graduate Programme in Thermal Power Plant Technology-PGPTPT

Eligibility : A full time 4 year BE/ B.Tech degree from a recognized institute in Mechanical/ Electrical/ EEE/ Electronics/ Control & Instrumentation with a minimum of 60% marks in class X & XII and 70% in BE/B.Tech. Degree pass out of year 2013 and year 2012 are only eligible.

* Post Diploma Programme in Thermal Power Plant Technology-PDPTPT

Eligibility : A 3 year Diploma from recognized institute in Mechanical/ Electrical/ EEE/ Electronics/ Control & Instrumentation with a minimum of 60% marks in class X/XII and Diploma. Candidate awaiting their final semester result are also eligible to apply.

Selection Process : Written test followed by Personal Interview which will be conducted at Delhi, Kolkata, Benguluru, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Baroda & Raipur. Examination centers may be changed based on applications

Date of Written Test/ Interview : 1st / 2nd Week of June 2013 (Examination center & date will be informed to the shortlisted applicants)

Eligibility-:

Three-year Diploma in Mech/Elect/Instrumentation Engg from a recognised technical board with minimum 60 per cent with class I / I grade;age limit of 27 years as on September 30, 2009. No age limit for sponsored candidates.
