All India Management Association- AIMA is the national apex body of the management profession in India. And Centre for Management Education (CME) established in 1993, is the educational wing of AIMA. It functions as full - fledged autonomous business school.

Eligibility:

Candidates must have Bachelor's degree in any discipline from any recognised university.
OR

Candidates must have completed 3 years diploma in any discipline recognised by AICTE.

Candidates must have 1-2 years of work experience.

Selection process: Selection based on, qualification, SOP, Experience Certificate followed by Personal Interview.

Admission process: After receiving an admission offer letter from AIMA submit a DD of Rs 1,00,000/- in favor of "All India Management Association", payable at New Delhi.

AIMA invites applications for Management Aptitude Test (MAT) for Sep. 2012 that leads to admission for MBA & Allied Programmes of over 170 Business Schools.

Eligibility : Graduates in any discipline. Final year students of Graduate Courses can also apply.

To apply: Application form can be obtained from with against cash payment of Rs.1,200/- from listed branches of Banks, listed Nodal Centres of AIMA or from AIMA offices at New Delhi or

MAT Score is acceptable even to certain other Institutes for considering admission of candidates for Post Graduate Degree / Diploma programmes, besides the Institutes, subject to specific cut-off marks and other admission parameters

Candidate can choose any one of the two options to take the test:

Paper- Pencil Test (Offline Test)
or
Computer Based Test- Online Test

Test Centre City list is provided in the bulletin. Test Venues for Paper-Pencil Test and Computer Based Test (Online) are different.

The Paper-Pencil Test will take place only on one day i.e., 06 Sept 2009 at one time slot i.e., 10.00am-12.30pm, whereas the Computer Based Test (Online Test) will take place from 07 September 2009 onwards in different time slots.

If the number of candidates registered for Computer Based Test (Online Test) is few/limited, these candidates have to appear for the paper-Pencil Test on 06 Sept 2009 only.
One candidate can appear only for one date for the September 2009 MAT.

Admit Card
All provisionally registered candidates can down load their Admit Card from AIMA website link: www.aima-ind.org/matcentre.asp 7 days before the test date.

Specific Admit Card will be generated both for the candidates opted for the Paper-Pencil (Offline Test) and for the Computer Based Online Test.

Admit Card would be having Candidate Name, Form No, Roll No, Test Date, Test Time and Test Venue Address. Candidate has to strictly follow the date and time allotted to them in the case of Computer Based Online Test.

AIMA Distance PGDM Admission opens for JULY 2009 session

AIMA-CME is recognized by Distance Education Council (DEC), Govt of India for offering distance learning programmes. PGDM programme is the flagship programme of AIMA and is approved by AICTE (Ministry of HRD, Govt of India).

Eligibility-:
Graduation (10+2+3) from any recognized University. MAT composite score of 400+

To Apply-:
Interested candidates are required to purchase AIMA-CME prospectus for appearing in the interview. The prospectus and admission OMR form is available on payment of Rs.300/- only from AIMA / Study Centres.

Candidates will be offered admission based on their MAT score and performance at the interview on the “first come first served basis”

MAT goes online from September 2009

The All India Management Association (AIMA), the apex body of management schools in India has decided to conduct the exam through online mode.

The online MAT will be conducted in addition to the regular MAT.

A pilot project has already been done by the AIMA in the last year in seven cities across the country. A two week window to take the test will be given to aspirants.

AIMA also plans to outsource the test centres to colleges having the required technology and infrastructure.

To obtain MAT Bulletin and Application Form by post, send a Demand Draft of Rs.1050/- to AIMA-CMS, drawn in favour of “All India Management Association” payable at New Delhi alongwith two self-addressed slips/adhesive stickers. OR
