AILET 2021 Application Process

The National Law University (NLU) Delhi has invited applications for the All India Law Entrance Test or AILET 2021 for admission to five year BA LLB, LLM, and PhD programmes. The application process is open and will conclude on May 20. The exam is scheduled to be held on June 20 in an offline mode. 

National Law University AILET 2021 application form released on January 23, 2021, on the official website. The last date to submit the application form is May 20 (11.55 pm). The AILET 2021 exam will be conducted on June 20.

National Law University AILET 2021 application forms have been made available to students who are planning to apply for admission to five-year integrated BA LLB, LLM and PhD programmes. This year, the BA LLB programme has 110 seats and the LLM programme has 70 seats. Each programme will have additional 10 seats for NRI.

Applications are accepted online only at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in; nludelhi.ac.in. The admit card for the exam will be released on June 5. National Law University Delhi has not authorised any agent/ agency for admission, says the official notice, and candidates need to make payment at the official websites only. In case of any issue, candidates need to submit complaints at admission@nludelhi.ac.in.

CLAT  2021 Rescheduled to June 13 2021

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), a national level entrance exam for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes, has been rescheduled to June to avoid clash with CBSE class X, XII board examinations.

The entrance examination that was scheduled to be held in May has been rescheduled to June. According to the latest schedule, the law entrance examination will be conducted on June 13. Earlier, the exam was supposed to be held on May 9

NLSIU Master of Public Policy Admissions 2014

NLSIU Bangalore is launching Master of Public Policy, a multi-disciplinary programme with a special thrust on law as an interface between development and public policy.

The course is designed as a programme that imparts knowledge, skills and value orientations through experiential learning. Participatory and reflective learning is encouraged through lectures and group seminars. Students will also engage in writing assignments (in the form of problem solving) which will be part of their course evaluation.

The course is also designed to equip students for real-world-problem-solving with components such as fieldwork, client-led projects, internships, exchange programmes and research dissertation.

Eligibility : The candidate should have completed a graduation course (10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10 + 2 +5) in Social Sciences (anthropology, commerce, cultural studies, development studies, economics, education, fine arts, international relations, psychology, political science, sociology, women studies), Humanities (cultural studies, history, law, literature, mathematics, media studies, philosophy, public administration, theology, statistics), Professional courses (archaeology, environmental science, management, health care, urban planning, rural development/management, social work), Science (natural sciences, agricultural science, engineering, medicine, pharmacology), or similar interdisciplinary degrees from an Indian university or equivalent degree from a foreign university.

The course is also open to people preparing for a career in civil services, politics and governance, social activists and opinion makers, planners and service providers, lawyers and judges who want to serve in Family Courts, Labour Courts, Juvenile Courts, Lokayukta and so on, who fulfil the above criteria. The course is also open to officers on deputation from public sector and government agencies.

After the scrutiny of the application forms, candidates will be invited for a Policy Aptitude Test (to be held in four cities – Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai – on 10 May 2014). Details of the structure of the Policy Aptitude Test (PAT) can be found here. Based on the score of the Policy Aptitude Test, interviews will be held in NLSIU campus in Bangalore during 9-11 June 2014. List of the admitted candidates would be prepared based on the score obtained in PAT and interviews.

Eligibility :

For Under-Graduate Courses

To be eligible to appear in CLAT-2013, a candidate should have obtained a Senior Secondary School/Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent certificate from a recognised Board with not less than 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC and ST candidates) and should be below 20 years of age as on 1st July 2013 (22 years in case of SC and ST candidates).* Candidates who are appearing or have appeared in the 10+2 examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear in the test. However, such candidates are required to have passed the qualifying examination at the time of their admission and must be able to submit proofs in support of their claims.

For Post-Graduate Courses :

To be eligible for appearing in CLAT-2013, a candidate should have obtained a LL. B/B. L. Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized University with not less than 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of SC and ST candidates).* The candidates who have passed the qualifying degree examination through supplementary/ compartment and repeat attempts are also eligible for appearing in the test and taking admission provided that such candidates will have to produce the proof of having passed the qualifying examination with fifty-five/fifty percent marks, as the case may be, on the date of their admission or within the time allowed by the respective universities.

The candidates who are appearing or have appeared in the qualifying degree examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear in the test.

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) – 2013 for admission to under-graduate and
post-graduate programmes offered by member National Law Universities is scheduled to take place on Sunday, i.e. on 12th May 2013, from 03:00 p.m. to 05:00 p.m.

Sale of Application Forms and Information Brochure and also previous Years Question
Papers (from 2008-2012) will commence from 15th January 2013 at the specified branches of SBI and the member National Law Universities. Online application facility will also be available from 15th January 2013.

LL.B. (Three year Course) and LL.M. Entrance Tests 2009
The Entrance Tests for admission to First Year of LL.B. (Three Year Course) and
LL.M. for the year 2009-10 will be held in Delhi.

LL.B.: Date of Entrance Test: Sunday, 22nd March 2009
Eligibility: Graduate/Post-Graduate Degree with 50% marks for General & OBC
candidates; 45% marks for widows/wards of ex-servicemen/serving personnel (CW);
and degree with pass marks for SC/ST candidates
Relaxation of upto 5% marks for Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates.

LL.M.: Date of Entrance Test: Sunday, 29th March 2009
Eligibility: LL.B. Degree (3 year/5 year course) with 50% marks for General &
OBC candidates; Relaxation of upto 5% marks for PH; and 45% marks for
SC/ST/CW candidates
Note: 1. Candidates awaiting results of the qualifying degree examination are
eligible to appear in the Entrance Test but admission will depend on minimum
eligibility prescribed above.
2. The reservation of seats is made as per the University rules.
3. Bulletin of Information with application form may be obtained from the office of
the Admission Co-ordinator, Faculty of Law from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. from
02.02.2009 on cash payment of Rs. 200/- or by post by sending latest by 02.03.2009
to the Admission Co-ordinator a bank draft of Rs. 250/- favouring “Registrar,
University of Delhi, Delhi-110007” payable at Delhi/New Delhi. The application
form can also be downloaded from www.du.ac.in and should be deposited alongwith
an additional bank draft of Rs. 200/-.
4. The duly filled application can be submitted from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on all
working days and upto 5:00 p.m. on 09 March 2009 or may be sent by registered
post to Admission Co-ordinator, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, Delhi –
110007 so as to reach on or before 09.03.2009. Incomplete applications or
applications received after last date shall not be considered.

CLAT-2009 Common Law Admission Test

ADMISSION TO UNDER-GRADUATE AND POST-GRADUATE PROGRAMMES 2009-10

Eligibility: Under-Graduate Programmes:

Eligibility: 10+2 Examination or equivalent with not less than 50% marks for General and 45% marks for SC/ST OBC and Persons with Disability.

(Students taking qualifying examination in March/April 2009 are also eligible to apply).

Age limit: Not more than 20 years in case of General and 22 years in case of SC / ST / 0BC and Persons with Disability as on 1st July, 2009.

Post-graduate Programme (EXCEPT FOR NLU, JODHPUR)

Eligibility:
55% marks in aggregate in LL.B. / B.L. (50% marks in case of SC / ST/ OBC and persons with disability

How To Apply:
1.Printed Application Forms along with the CLAT-2009 information Brochure will be available at the designated branches (refer www.clat.ac.in ) of the Indian Bank, State Bank of India, or in any of Law Schools mentioned below against payment of Rs. 2500/- only (Rs.2000/- in case of SC/ST on proof) inclusive of test fee and bank charges.
2.Request for Application form may be sent to the Convenor, CLAT-2009, NALSAR University of Law, 3-4-761 Barkatpura, Hyderabad—500 027, with a demand draft for Rs.2500/- (Rs. 2000/-in case of SC/ST) drawn in favour of the Convenor, CLAT-2009 (NALSAR) and payable at Hyderabad.

4.The duly filled in Application Form along with the DD and other enclosures should be sent to the Convenor, CLAT 2009 at the address mentioned.
