Eligibility:
For Undergraduate:
Candidates should passed 10 + 2 examination in relevant discipline with 50% of marks from a recognized Board of examination.

For Postgraduate:
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with 50% of marks from a recognized university.

Thapar University L.M Thapar School of Management Two Year Full Time MBA Programme Admissions 2013

Eligibility : Admission to MBA programme will be open to a candidate who obtains atleast 60% marks aggregate or 6.0 CGPA or an equivalent grade in the qualifying examination from recognized university

Thapar University Online MBA Entrance Test to be conducted from 26th-28th December 2012 or valid CAT/MAT/CMAT score

I MBA (IT Networking)
The L M Thapar School of Management offers a post graduate programme on MBA (ITNET) for graduates in Engineering or Physical Sciences who desire to equip themselves with capability of providing business solutions in the dynamic world of network management.

Eligibility :
a) Graduation in any branch of Engineering/ Technology or MCA. Normal duration of the programme for these candidates shall be 2 years (Four Semesters)

b) MSc/ BSc/ BCA/ BMIT : These candidates immediately after admission are required to do a bridge course of one year to be offered by LMT SOM, TU. Normal duration of the programme for these candidates shall be 3 years (Six semesters). Candidates with M.Sc/ B.Sc qualifications must have passed Mathematics as one of the subjects during Graduation.

II MBA (Manufacturing)
The school offers a post graduate programme for Engineering and Physical Science graduates who wish to develop proficiency in managing core manufacturing processes and practices.

Eligibility :
a) Graduation in any branch of Engineering / Technology. Normal duration of the programme for these candidates shall be 2 years (Four Semesters)

B) MSc/ BSc : These candidates immediately after admission are required to do a bridge course of one year to be offered by LMTSOM. Normal duration of the programme for these candidates shall be 3 years (Six Semesters).

III MBA (Energy)
The LMT School of Management offers a two year (4 semester) programme on MBA (ENERGY) for graduate Engineers for developing among them ability to manage teams of people involved in the conversion of energy resources into usable form by the industry and society at large.

Eligibility-:
A graduate in any branch of Engineering/ Technology from any recognized University.

1 Candidates seeking admission in LMTSOM, TU shall fill up the Application form downloaded from http://www.thapar.edu/ and send/submit the completed form to Registrar, TU, Patiala-147 004 only and not to any other office/ Institution

2 Application for admission must be made in the candidate's own handwriting and on the prescribed application form. The form down loaded from the website (www.thapar.edu) or photocopy of the downloaded form must be accompanied by a crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 1250/- drawn in favour of Registrar, TU, payable at Patiala-147004.

The candidates appearing for any of the nationally recognized entrance tests for management education like CAT, MAT, XAT, JMET etc will be considered for admission. The candidates who did not take any of these tests will be required to take a test to be conducted by LMT School of Management, Thapar University at Patiala on 15th March, 2009.

Application complete in all respects should reach the Registrar, TU, Patiala-
147004, by 5.00 P.M. on or before 16.2.2009.
