Madurai Kamaraj University is a Statutory University, established in 1966 by Govt. of Tamilnadu. It is recognized and funded by UGC and is a member of Association of Indian Universities. It has been reaccredited by NAAC with grade A.

The Directorate of Distance Education of this university was established in 1971 and has a student strength of about 1.20 lakhs. There are 39 Spot Admission Centres and 114 Study Centres outside Tamilnadu across the country and 16 Study Centres outside the country.

This University was accorded the status of "University with Potential for Excellence" - A status conferred by University Grants Commission so far on 9 such Universities in the Country

Prospectus with application form can be obtained in person from any one of the Study Centres. To obtain by post send a DD for Rs. 150/- drawn in favour of Director, D.D.E. MKU payable at Madurai with a covering letter mentioning name and address of the candidate. Madurai Kamaraj University B.Ed. Distance Mode

Madurai Kamaraj University, Directorate of Distance Education invites applications for B.Ed. Programme in Distance Mode. The Program is Recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and Distance Education Council ( DEC ) New Delhi

Eligibility:
Any Degree from any recognized University.

Work Experience:
Teachers serving in recognized schools with a minimum of two years school teaching experience. in Nursery/Primary/Secondary/Higher secondary/Matriculation schools in Tamilnadu recognized by the state / central government.

Selection will be done on the basis of the performance in the entrance test conducted for this purpose.

How to Apply-:
