MDI Gurgaon Part Time PGPM 2015

Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon has started the admission process for the session of 2015. The institute has invited applications for its part-time Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM). The interested and eligible candidates may apply according to the prescribed format.

Eligibility criteria:

The candidates are required to have a Bachelor's degree in any field

This degree must be from a recognised university or institute

They must have a minimum score of 50 percent (or equivalent CGPA) in their qualifying degree

The candidates should have a minimum executive work experience of three years (excluding stipendiary/training period).

Application procedure: The candidates are required to apply online at the official website of MDI.

Application fee: The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 1,800. The payment can be made through net banking, credit card or debit card.

Selection procedure: The applicants will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written test. Those who clear the test will be called for an interview round.

MDI Post Graduate Programme in Management-PGPM (27th National Management Programme)

MDI pioneered the National Management Programme (NMP) in 1988. This is a 12 month residential programme (followed by 3 months of dissertation at work place) that leads to the award of an AICTE approved Post Graduate Diploma in Management. This programme is designed for practicing managers with 5 or more years of experience to acquire skills across a wide range of domains. Over time, many leading Navratna Public Enterprises have sponsored their managers for this programme.

For admission, the Candidate should appear either in the MDI Test being conducted on 8th December, 2013 at Bangalore, Gurgaon and Mumbai or the Common Admission Test (CAT 2013)

School of Energy management was started by MDI Gurgaon with the support of Ministry of Power and USAID. The School offers PGDM (Energy Management) under the National Management Programme. The programme is of 15 months duration; 12 months are residential and 3 months in respective organizations for dissertation work.

Thrust of the Programme :

Develop talent for Power and Energy Sector of India and equip participants with knowledge in the discipline of management.

Eligibility :

Three-year Bachelor's Degree in any discipline recognized by AIU / AICTE.

MDI GURGAON Fellow/Executive Fellow Program in Management 2010

MDI GURGAON Fellow Program / Executive Fellow Program in Management (July 2010)

FPM / EFPM, a Doctoral level program, prepares top researchers and academicians for business, industry, government and non-government organisations. EFPM is a non-residential program meant for executives working in India or abroad.

Areas of Specialization : Business Communications, Economics, Finance, Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource, Information Systems, Marketing, Operations, Public Policy and Governance, Strategy.


FPM / EFPM Eligibility Criteria-:

1. A master’s degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade point average recognized by AICTE /AIU with bachelor’s degree / equivalent qualification after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) (OR)

2. Five year integrated Masters Degree Programme in any discipline with at least 60% marks, obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent (OR)

3. A professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS with at least 60%marks or equivalent grade point average (OR)

4. 4 years / 8 semester bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech./B. Arch. etc.) with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade point average. Those appearing for their final examinations in the respective disciplines can also apply.

5. For EFPM, a minimum of 10 years of managerial / executive work experience is required. The minimum age for the EFPM candidate is 35 years as on 1st January 2010.

Selection Process for FPM /EFPM-:

Candidates who have appeared/are appearing for the CAT / GMAT / GRE / GATE / UGC-JRF (two years from the date of the standard test and should be valid on the deadline of submission of the application form) will be shortlisted on the basis of the details in the application form and the scores of aforementioned tests. Only the shortlisted candidates will then be called for interaction with Area faculty followed by Personal interviews on 20 – 30th March 2010 at MDI Campus.

Application Form-:

The Information Brochure and Application Form shall be available on payment of Rs. 750/- in cash at Admission Office, MDI Campus or by sending a demand draft of Rs. 850/- in favor of the Management Development Institute, payable at New Delhi, if by post, from 23rd November 2009. Applicants can also apply online and send the DD of Rs. 850/- by post. The last date of receipt of filled in Application Form at MDI is 29 January 2010.
