Securities Markets Programme (SMP) Admissions 2009 IICM

The Indian Institute of Capital Markets is inviting applications for admission to their Securities Markets Programme (SMP).

Eligibility-: Candidates possessing a Master's or Bachelor's Degree from a recognised Indian university may apply.

Admission Procedure-: There will be a two-stage selection process comprising a written test and personal interview.

To apply-: Get the prospectus and application form by sending a DD of Rs 1,000 drawn in favour of the Indian Institute of Capital Markets payable in Mumbai or pay by cash in person. Alternatively, you can download the form from www.utiicm.com.

Dates to remember-:
Last date for receipt of application forms: March 17, 2009.
The written test will be conducted on March 21, 2009.
Interviews will be held from April 2 to April 6, 2009.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India Accounting Technician Course

NEW SCHEME OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING
ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN COURSE (ATC)

* To become an Accounting Technician………
Enrol for Common Proficiency Test (CPT) after passing Class 10 examination
Pass 10+2 examination and CPT
Enrol for Accounting Technician Course (ATC)
Successfully complete 9 months of Study Course
Successfully complete Orientation Course of one week spanning over 35
hours and covering topics, such as, personality development, communication
skills, office procedures, business environment, general commercial
knowledge, etc
Successfully complete Information Technology Training (ITT) or Computer
Training Programme
Pass Group I of Integrated Professional Competence Examination (IPCE)
Group I is composed of four papers
Successfully complete one year work experience under a chartered
accountant in practice or in industry
Get ATC Certificate
Designate as Accounting Technician
* Scope for acquiring CA qualification, even after becoming
Accounting Technician:
Enrol in Group II of Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC)
Register as Articled Assistant for a period of 3 years
Pass Group II of IPCE
Appear in IPCC Final Examination during last 6 months of 3 years of articled
training
Pass both the Groups of IPCC Final examination
Complete remaining period of articled training, if applicable
Successfully complete the Course on General Management and
Communication Skills
Get IPCC Final Examination Certificate
Enrol as a member of ICAI and designate as “Chartered Accountant”

Delhi University Master of Finance and Control (MFC)

Department of Financial Studies of Delhi University invites applications for Two-Year (full-time) Master of Finance and Control (MFC) Programme for the academic session 2009-2011 commencing from July 2009.

Selection of Candidates for admission to MFC Programme is done on the basis of an All India Entrance Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The details regarding admission are given in Prospectus of MFC.

Eligibility:
Graduate (under 10+2+3)/Post-Graduate in any discipline, viz. Arts, Humanities, Commerce, Management, Social Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Engineering, Technology, Agriculture, Law, Pharmacy and Medicine with 50% marks, from the University of Delhi or any other University recognised as equivalent thereto. Reservation of seats according to the University rules for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged candidates.

Candidates appearing for the final year of there Bachelor's Degree can also apply for admission.

Test Centers
The admission Test will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2009 between 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m at Delhi, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai.

How to Apply
The prospectus and application form can be obtained between 10.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m (from Monday to Friday) from the office of the Department (Room No. 329), Arts Faculty Building, South Campus on cash payment of Rs.700/- (Rs. 200/- for SC/ST Candidates on submission of attested copy of caste certificate) or by post, against a Demand Draft of Rs. 750/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST Candidates) drawn in favour of “Director, University of Delhi South Campus" payable at State Bank of India, New Delhi along with two self-addressed slips of size 2" x 5". The application form can also be downloaded from www.mfc.edu. The download form should be accompanied by the Demand Draft of Rs. 750 (Rs.250 for SC / ST candidates) in favour of Director, University of Delhi, South Campus, as specified above mentioned address. Last Date for submission of completed Application Form: December 4, 2008.

MET's e-empowered Management and Business Administration (eMBA) - admissions 2008

Admissions for eMBA - an autonomous e-Management programm at MET Asian Management Development Centre.

Specialisations in Marketing, Finance, HR, Systems and Operation + Dual Specialisation. Also offering eMBA (Insurance) with Dual Specialisation in Marketing or Finance.

Eligibility

Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university. Those who are appearing for final examination in April - May 2008 can also apply. However, they must produce documentary evidence of having passed the examination, on or before the commencement of the programme, failing which their admission will be liable for cancellation and fees will not be refunded.

How to apply

The prospectus and application form are available at MET Complex, Bandra , Reclamation (W), Mumbai-50.

Students can obtain the form and Prospectus from MET for Rs. 1000/- in cash or DD payable at Mumbai in favour of `MET`s AMDC`.

Or

Send us the DD of Rs. 1000/- by post. DD should be in favour of "MET`s AMDC", payable at Mumbai. We will send you the form and prospectus by courier.

Students need to fill-in the form and submit the same to the institute with necessary attachments.

Selection Procedure

Candidates applying for this programme will be selected on the basis of:

MET CET Score + MET Psychometric Test + Group Discussion + Personal Interview

Psychometric test + GD + PI on June 10, 2008.
