IITB - Monash Research Academy PhD Scholarship December 2012
The IITB - Monash Research Academy (The Academy) is an exciting partnership between the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB) and Monash University, Melbourne (Australia) - two of the world's leading educational and research Institutions.
The Academy, has designed a jointly-badged Ph.D program in which students can undertake interdisciplinary research in several thematic areas focusing on the fields of Science, Technology and Engineering.
The Academy's December 2012 intake will focus on attracting top students to work in areas of applied research sponsored by Industrial partners.
Candidates will :
* Receive a generous scholarship
* Receive expert co-supervision from Professors at IITB and Monash.
* Receive a dually-awarded Ph.D Degree from IITB and Monash.
* Have access to world-class research facilities.
* Gain international research experience
* Receive a special fellowship to visit Monash University
Candidates with a fist class Masters Degree in Engineering or Science from a reputed University or a Bachelors/Masters Degree (with a high GPA) from the IITs, NITs or BITs should take advantage of this unique opportunity to acquire an internationally recognised qualification and pursue a career in research.
The Academy is offering attractive PhD scholarships to suitable candidates
Although not a prerequisite, candidates who have been highly placed in GATE or GRE should apply.

The Academy, has designed a jointly-badged Ph.D program in which students can undertake interdisciplinary research in several thematic areas focusing on the fields of Science, Technology and Engineering.
The Academy's June 2010 intake will focus on attracting top students to work in areas of applied research sponsored by Industrial partners.
The Academy is offering attractive Ph.D scholarships to suitable candidates. As a PhD student you will be based at The Academy in IIT Bombay. You will work with an elite team of academics and students on one of the following research themes :
Advanced computational engineering, simulation and manufacture
Infrastructure engineering
Clean Energy
Water
Nanotechnology
Biotechnology and Stem Cell Research
Candidates will :
