Educational Testing Services- ETS has opened applications to the TOEFL scholarships. The USD 105,500 scholarships will be awarded to academically excellent students from India to pursuit of undergraduate or graduate study in India or abroad. ETS will award 15 USD 7000 scholarships to students to help them study further at any of the 9000+ institution that accepts the TOEFL test globally.

Eligibility

The competition is in two stages. To be eligible for this award, you must:

* reside in India
* start an undergraduate or graduate degree program between June 2016 and May 2017 at a college or university listed in the TOEFL Destination Search
* hold a grade point average of 80 or higher on a 100-point scale, or a 3.0 grade point average or higher on a 4-point scale
* demonstrate English proficiency with a valid TOEFL score
* complete the initial application by June 21, 2016

Based on the initial applications, 100 semifinalists will be selected. Semifinalists must exhibit:

* an outstanding ability to communicate
* demonstrated leadership skills
* well-rounded extracurricular activities, especially including community service
* innovative ideas as reflected in essays

Complete the initial application online. The deadline for the initial application is June 21, 2016. If selected as a semifinalist, you will be notified and will be required to submit additional information, which is due on July 14, 2016. ETS TOEFL Scholarships 2013

Educational Testing Service- ETS awarded 21 TOEFL scholarships to outstanding students from India. The TOEFL scholarship programme recognises TOEFL teset takers in India who excel academically and demonstrate well-rounded qualities, including participation in extracurricular activities such as commumnity service.l One scholarship in the amount of US $10,000 and 20 scholarships each valued at US $3000 were awarded to further undergraduate or graduate studies for students in India in the 2013 academic school year. The scholarships can be used at any of the more than 8,500 institutions in more than 130 countries that accept TOEFL test scores.

ETS TOEFL SCHOLARSHIP 2012

For the third consecutive year Educational Testing Service-ETS announces the launch of the TOEFL Scholarship Programme in India. Created specifically for Indian Students, the scholarship programme will award scholarships valued at approximately US$70,000 an increase of US$10,000 in award funding from 2011. Scholarship funding can be applied to either under graduate or graduate study for the 2012 academic year. Ten scholarships will honour Indian students demonstrating academic success including Four US$10,000 scholarship for study at a college or university located in Australia, Canada, UK and / or the United States and listed in the TOEFL destinations directory Six US$5,000 scholarships for study at any college or university listed in the TOEFL destinations directory. TOEFL India Scholar Programme 2010-ETS

Educational Testing Service-ETS has developed a scholarship programme to recognise outstanding students in India who will begin their postgraduate studies in the U.K., U.S. or Canada in 2010. The programme will recognise students with high academic achievement who have demonstrated leadership skills, innovative ideas and an outstanding ability to communicate in English.

Three (3) $10,000 scholarships and four (4) $5,000 scholarships will be awarded to students demonstrating high academic achievement, who have already been accepted into an institution in the U.K., U.S., or Canada. Winners will be notified on 22 May 2010.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

Be an undergraduate or graduate student currently living in India who will begin postgraduate study in the U.K., U.S. or Canada in 2010
Have an overall grade percentage of 60 or above
Demonstrate English proficiency with your TOEFL scores
