Applications for admission to the various MBA Programmes in the University of Lucknow is invited for the session 2018-19

This year the admissions will be done on the basic of CAT score pf applicants. To apply to these programs applicants have to first fill the form for CAT 2017

Seats Availability

Applications are invited for 540 Seats of 09 MBA Programs:

MBA (Regular) - 60 Seats, MBA (Self-Financed) - 60 Seats, MBA (Finance & Control) (Self-Financed) - 120 Seats, MBA (Human Resource & Industrial Relations) (Self-Finance) - 120 Seats, MBA (Marketing) - (Self-Financing) - 120 Seats, and MBA (International Business) (Self-Financed) - 60 Seats


Eligibility Criteria for MBA Programs

All admissions to the various MBA programs will be governed by the ordinances of the Dept. of Business Administration as well as the Institute if Management Sciences depending on where that particular program is being conducted


A candidate will be eligible for Admission to the MBA programs if he/she has completed graduation in any stream with 10+2+3 system from any University recognized by UGC


The candidate should also have secured a minimum 50% of marks at graduate level. However, for SC/ST candidates minimum pass percentage of marks at graduate level will be 45%


University reserves the right to cancel any admission at any stage. In case of any matter relating to the MBA Admissions, the decision of the Vice-Chancellor/Admission Committee, University of Lucknow shall be final and binding


All the legal matters pertaining to the MBA Admissions shall be subject to the Lucknow Jurisdiction only

Selection Procedure

The candidates for admission to the MBA programmes shall be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in CAT 2017. This would be followed by a personal interview for all shortlisted candidates


The written component of CAT 2017 will account for a merit score of 80 while the interview will account for a merit score of 20. The overall merit would be calculated out of a final merit score of 100


CAT 2017

The date of CAT 2017 is November 26, 2017. All aspirants are required to complete formalities for appearing in CAT 2017 and provide the details of their CAT 2017 registration in their application to University of Lucknow

Lucknow University invites applications for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme, commencing in 2014.

The programmes offered are:
* MBA in General
* MBA Self Finance
* MBA Finance & Control
* MBA International Business
* MBA Marketing
* MBA HR & IR
* MBA Management Science
* MBA Corporate Management
* MBA Retail Management

Eligibility : Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with 50% (45% for SC/ST) of marks in any discipline from any of the recognised universities.Candidates completing their Undergraduate degree course by 30th June 30, 2014 can also apply as provisional candidates.

The candidates for admission to the programme shall be selected through applicant's performance in the CAT 2013 or LUMAT 2014 conducted by the institute.Candidates would be selected based on group discussion and personal interview.

Eligibility
A recognised Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3) with minimum 50 per cent marks in the aggregate (45 per cent marks in case of SC/ST candidates).

Candidates completing their final examination of the Bachelor's Degree by June 30, 2009 can also apply.

Selection
Selection will be based on:

* Applicant's performance in the CAT (COMMON ADMISSION TEST) to be conducted by the Indian Institute of Management on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at various test centers in India. Suitable sectional cut off depending upon relative performance in written test will be applied to shortlisted the candidates.
* Group Discussion
* Personal Interview
* Reservation of seats as per University/ State government rules.

How to apply
* Complete the formalities for appearing in CAT 2008 (Please refer to the CAT advertisement).

* Apply for MBA admission of University of Lucknow along with CAT registration number.

* The brochure and application form will be available over the Cashier's Office at University of Lucknow till November 30, 2008 on cash payment of Rs 800/- (Rs 500/- for SC/ST candidates).

* The application form can also be downloaded from www.lkouniv.ac.in

* The completed form is required to be sent with a Demand Draft of Rs 800/- (Rs 500/-for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of Finance Officer, University of Lucknow.

* Candidates desiring to obtain the brochure and application form by post should send a Demand Draft of Rs 850/- (Rs 550/- for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of Finance Officer, University of Lucknow by October 25, 2008 at the address below.

University uses CAT for shortlisting of candidates for two year full time PG Programmes in Management. IIMs have no role either in selection process or in the conduct of the programmes
