Indian Institute of Foreign Trade - IIFT, New Delhi, invites applications for admission to certificate courses commencing in Nov 2013 - Jan 2014.

* Certificate Programmes in Export Management.


* Certificate Programmes in Global Trade Logistics & Operations.
The primary objective of the course is to develop among participants a closer appreciation of the critical role which business logistics management plays in today’s fiercely competitive global environment. It is widely recognized that through efficient logistics management, corporates are able to leverage their competitive strategies thereby creating value for their customers. The role of logistics has obviously gained pre-eminence in today’s global business. The course is, therefore, designed to lay emphasis on how effective and efficient logistics management in international trade with special reference to the Indian perspective can create time and place value at micro and macro levels.

The Course covers India’s Foreign Trade Policy, International Trade Logistics, Trade Finance & Logistics Operations, Transportation Logistics and Maritime Logistics


Eligibility:
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline from a recognised Indian or a foreign university.

Diploma holders with 2 years full time experience at executive/supervisory level as on Oct 31, 2013.

The candidates will be selected based personal interview conducted by the institute.

Application form can obtained by hand from the office of IIFT by paying Rs 250/- (Rs 125/- for SC/ST) in cash.

Calcutta University M.Phil in Foreign Policy Studies

Calcutta University M.Phil in Foreign Policy Studies

The Institute of Foreign Policy Studies, Calcutta University invites applications for the two year M.Phil course in Foreign Policy Studies for the session 2010- 2012.
Each selected student shall receive a fellowship of Rs. 6000/- per month during the period of the course.


Eligibility
Any candidate who has passed the M.A./M.Sc./M.Com or equivalent examination of this University with 55% marks in aggregate (SC/ST with 50% marks) or with 60% marks in aggregate of any other recognised University. Students who are taking M.A. Part-II examination may also apply provisionally and sit for the admission test but their final admission would depend on passing the examination obtaining the required marks mentioned above.

Interested candidates should apply on plain paper giving details regarding their age, educational qualification, address, contact nos. and e-mail. Copies of age proof, post graduate certificates/mark sheets, SC/ST certificate (if applicable) should be attached.
