Indian Institute of Foreign Trade - IIFT, New Delhi, invites applications for admission to certificate courses commencing in Nov 2013 - Jan 2014.

The primary objective of the course is to develop among participants a closer appreciation of the critical role which business logistics management plays in today’s fiercely competitive global environment. It is widely recognized that through efficient logistics management, corporates are able to leverage their competitive strategies thereby creating value for their customers. The role of logistics has obviously gained pre-eminence in today’s global business. The course is, therefore, designed to lay emphasis on how effective and efficient logistics management in international trade with special reference to the Indian perspective can create time and place value at micro and macro levels.

The Course covers India’s Foreign Trade Policy, International Trade Logistics, Trade Finance & Logistics Operations, Transportation Logistics and Maritime Logistics


Eligibility:
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline from a recognised Indian or a foreign university.

Diploma holders with 2 years full time experience at executive/supervisory level as on Oct 31, 2013.

The candidates will be selected based personal interview conducted by the institute.

The School of Maritime Management, Indian Maritime University invites applications for admission to its MBA Programmes. The common entrance test (CET) is a prerequisite for a candidate to get admitted for the MBA Programmes mentioned below. IMU-CET (MBA) Eligibility

The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, (45% in case candidates belonging to SC/ST and differently abied (DA) categories), awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India. Candidates appearing for the final year of the bachelor's degree and those who are awaiting for results can also apply. Prospective candidates must maintain a valid email account throughout the selection process.

Availability of IMU-CET (MBA) - 2012 Application form
IMU-CET (MBA) application form and payment challan can be downloaded from the website www.imu.in.nic.in and/or from www.imusmm.org. The fee of Rs.1,000/- (Rs.500/-for SC /ST/ DA candidates) can be remitted using challan (SBI/Indian Bank/Axis Bank) in the account number given in challan. Filled-in Application form must be sent to "Admission Coordinator - MBA, Academic Section, Indian Maritime University, East Coast Road, Uthandi, Chennai - 600119" before 31st March, 2012, with a copy of challan, IMU-CET (MBA) score will be valid only for the admission to courses during the Academic year 2012-13.
