Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi invites applications for admission to Certificate Programmes commencing in April-July 2014.

The programmes offered are :

Eligibility: Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline from any of the recognised Indian or a foreign universities.

Diploma holders with 2 years full time experience at executive / supervisory level as on 31st March 2014.Selection Procedure:The candidates will be selected based on personal interview conducted by the institute.

Prospectus and Application Form can be obtained by making cash payment of `250/- (`125/- for SC/ST/PH candidates) in person or by sending a Demand Draft/Pay Order of `250/- (`125/- for SC/ST/PH candidates) drawn in favour of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade payable at New Delhi. IIFT Executive Post Graduate Diploma in International Business (EPGDIB) through VSAT Admissions 2014

The EPGDIB Programme is specially designed to cater to those executives for whom leaving the job and the city is not a feasible option.

The Programme will be offered in three trimesters spread over 13 months. The beginning of each trimester comprises one week of concentrated classroom study at IIFT Delhi campus, followed by classes in the HughesNet Global Education Interactive Onsite Learning Classrooms, located in multiple cities across India.

Eligibility: Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

Work Experience: Minimum five years of work experience after graduation or minimum 3 years of work experience after Engineering degree or Post Graduation.

The primary objective of the course is to develop among participants a closer appreciation of the critical role which business logistics management plays in today’s fiercely competitive global environment. It is widely recognized that through efficient logistics management, corporates are able to leverage their competitive strategies thereby creating value for their customers. The role of logistics has obviously gained pre-eminence in today’s global business. Eligibility-:

Post Graduate / Engineering Degree or equivalent from any recognized university or Institution with THREE years work experience OR Graduate from any recognized University or Institution with FIVE years work experience.

Duration-:

Three trimesters spread over 12 months.

Pedagogy-:

Eligibility for IIFT MBA -:
1. Recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years’ duration in any discipline.
2. Candidates appearing for a qualifying examination can also apply subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification by October 7, 2010.
3. No age limit

Mode of Admission for IIFT MBA -:
For General/SC/ST/PH/OBC category :

1. On the basis of Written Test, Group Discussion, Interview and Essay Writing
2. Written Test on Sunday, November 22, 2009 between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon at Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar , Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur and Visakhapatnam.
3. Based on marks for written test, candidates will be called for Group Discussion, Interview and Essay Writing to be held during January/February at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai.

For Foreign National/NRI/Children of NRI :

1. On the basis of General Management Aptitude Test (GMAT).
2. GMAT result should not have been declared before January 1, 2008 and should be received by the Institute latest by March 31st, 2010.

Pattern of Admission Test

* The admission test is a multiple choice objective type written test (in English).
* Duration of the test is two hours and will cover English Comprehension, General Knowledge & Awareness, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Analysis.

Instructions to Apply Online for IIFT MBA 2010 - 2012
1. If in case the candidate proposes to pay through valid VISA/MASTER Credit Card, please proceed further.
2. Others should have a demand draft of the applicable amount favoring INDIAN INSTITUTE OF FOREIGN TRADE, payable at DELHI, since you will be required to fill in the details of the demand draft in the online application form.
3. Applicable amount for the Demand Draft is as follows :
* General/OBC(Non Creamy Layer) Indian candidates: Rs.1500/-
* SC/ST/PH candidates: Rs. 750/-
* Foreign National/NRI/Children of NRI candidates: US$ 75 (INR Rs. 3000)
4. You should have a printer attached to your computer as you are required to send a print of your online application form to IIFT.
5. Print only on an A4 size paper in “Portrait Layout”. Print only if the Bar Code appears properly on the screen, else refresh(Press F5) the page and then print.
6. Once you complete your online application form and submit the same, take a print out and send the same to IIFT after doing the needful as follows:
* Sign in the Box provided for the purpose.
* Paste your photograph in the box provided for the purpose.
* The candidates who have not paid through credit card are required to enclose the demand draft of the applicable amount with full name, address and application number on the reverse of the demand draft.
* Enclose two self addressed adhesive labels.
* Enclose copy of the requisite certificate, if belonging to SC/ST/PH/OBC(non-creamy layer) category.
* Attach copy of your GMAT Score if belonging to Foreign National/NRI/Children of NRI category. If you do not have the GMAT score, you can also submit the same separately by 31st March 2010 quoting your application number.
7. After receipt of the above application form with necessary enclosures, the Programme Brochure will be sent to the candidate through courier/post for information. This will also confirm the receipt of the application form in the Institute.
8. Once this form is received in the Institute with necessary enclosures, the online database will be updated and the candidate will be able to see the status of his/her application online. For this purpose the candidate needs to remember the password since it will be required along with the application no. for checking the status of the application.
