The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has invited applications from interested, eligible candidates to apply for its MBA and various other management programmes.

Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification:

Any graduate (Including chartered accountancy/cost accountancy/company secretary ship) with 50 per cent marks for general category/45 per cent for reserved category as per government of India rules

Clearance of OPENMAT conducted by IGNOU

Selection procedure

Admission to the Management Programme (MBA and specialisation PG Diplomas in HRM, FM, OM, MM and FMP) will be done on the basis of the score obtained in the OPENMAT, conducted all over India twice a year as per above schedule.

How to apply

Interested, eligible candidates are required to fill in the form for OPENMAT and the same should be send to 'The Registrar (SED), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi- 110068', by registered post/speed post on or before August 11.

Nursing (OPENNET-IV) for January 2015 session through entrance tests to be held on 17th August 2014 all over the country.


Application Form and Prospectus can also be downloaded from the website www.ignou.ac.in. and sent along with draft/ IPO for Rs.1050/- in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi by Registered/Speed Post to Registrar (SED), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068 (for Management Programmes and Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Programme) and to the concerned Regional Centre (for M.Ed. and B.Ed. programmes). Prospectus will be sent to such applicants after receipt of Rs. 1050/-.

The IGNOU invites applications for admissions to the following degree/diploma programmes in Management through an Entrance Test ‘OPENMAT-XXXV’ to be held on Sunday, 23rd February, 2014 all over the country.

Master of Business Administration (MBA), Diploma in Management (DIM),Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDIM), Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM),Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM),Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM),Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM),Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Markets Practice (PGDFMP)

All the above programmes have multi-media design, and technology aided delivery systems. These are offered through countrywide network of study centres. The University will be admitting the students for the above Degree/Diplomas in Management starting from July, 2014


Eligibility :
1. Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks for General Category and 45% for Reserved Category, with 3 years (Post-qualification) managerial/ supervisory/ professional experience.

OR

Professional Degree with 50% marks in: Engineering/Medicine/Chartered Accountancy (ICAI)/ Cost and Works Accountancy (ICWAI)/ Company Secretary-ship (ICSI)/ Law.

2. Clearance of OPENMAT conducted by IGNOU.

CAT, MAT and state level tests need not appear in Openmat-XXXIII. The cut-off percentage for these candidates shall be decided by the University, subject to a minimum of 40%.

Non-graduates (10+2 or equivalent) with six years of managerial/ supervisory/ professional experience are eligible to apply for DIM only.

IGNOU invites applications for its management programmes for July 2012 session through an entrance test called the OPENMAT- XXXI to be held on February 12, 2012 all over the country.

There are seven degree/ diploma programmes for which the application is invited viz., Master of Business Administration (MBA), Diploma in Management (DIM), Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDIM), Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM), Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM), Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM), Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM).

Eligibility :
These programmes have multimedia design and technology aided delivery systems. Candidates with 50 percent marks in graduation for general category and 45% for reserved category are eligible to apply for admission. However, candidates with bachelor’s degree and three years of supervisory/ managerial/ professional experience or professional degree or masters degree in any subject are also eligible to apply.

Candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance test for admission into management programme conducted by institutions like CAT, MAT and state level tests need not appear in the OPENMAT. The cut off percentage for admission of these candidates will be decided by the university.

Non-graduates (10+2 or equivalent) with six years of managerial/ supervisory/ professional experience are eligible for taking admission into Diploma in Management only after clearing the entrance test.

Admission Process :
Candidates who qualify the entrance test can submit the registration form, available in the student handbook and prospectus along with the hall ticket of the entrance test to the respective regional centers along with the required fee on any day after the receipt of the result card.

Provision for online registration for admission to the successful candidates will be made available on the university website www.ignou.ac.in after the declaration of the entrance test result.
