Admission to the following paramedical courses for the academic Year 2010-11.
1. B.Sc. in Nursing - 77 seats
2. B.Sc. in Radiography - 10 seats
3. B.Sc. in Anaesthesia Technology - 06 seats
Eligibility-:
1. B.Sc. in Nursing: 4 years duration.
Minimum Qualification for Admission:
(i) Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years course) OR
(ii) Senior School Certificate Examination, Pre-degree Examination (10+2) OR
(iii) An Equivalent with 12 years of Schooling from a recognized Board or University
(With Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English with a minimum of 50% aggregate)
2. B.Sc. in Radiography: 3 years duration.
Minimum Qualification for Admission:
(i) Pre University Course OR
(ii) Job Oriented Diploma course from a recognized Board with Diagnostic Radiography as vocational subject or Equivalent OR
(iii) An Equivalent with 12 years of Schooling from a recognized Board
(With Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology & English)
3. B.Sc. in Anaesthesia Technology: 3 years duration.
Minimum Qualification for Admission:
Pass in Two year Pre University Course Examination or equivalent with a Science group having secured an aggregate of 50% in Science subjects
GUIDELINES:
Candidates should bring the results of their qualifying examination as on the date of Entrance Test i.e., 27th June 2010.
INSTRUCTIONS:
* Application form for all the courses are available online at the NIMHANS website www.nimhans.kar.nic.in The applications have to be filled online and submitted online. Printout of the Application Abstract with the latest passport size photograph affixed (in the column provided) along with the Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Director, NIMHANS, Bangalore560 029 and relevant enclosures should be sent to the Director, NIMHANS, Hosur Road, Bangalore - 560 029 by superscribing the name of the course(s) applied for on the Envelope without fail.
* The application fee is Rs.1000/- per course for General candidates & Rs.750/- per course for SC/ST candidates.
* Foreign Nationals are required to submit their applications through the Diplomatic Channel (through the Ministry of External Affairs). They shall also appear for the common Entrance Test along with other candidates.
* Sponsored candidates should submit their application through proper channel and they should also appear for Common Entrance Test. The candidates should produce the sponsorship certificate in the prescribed format.

* Last date for receipt of Application abstract by post/courier : 25th May 2010
* Entrance Test will be held in Bangalore on : 27th June 2010

Eligibility : Candidates should
Have a minimum academic qualification of 10+2 or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
Should appear in AIEEE 2010 examination being conducted by CBSE on 25th April, 2010
Submit a separate application to School of Petroleum Technology in the prescribed application form.
How to Apply :
Candidates will have to apply in the prescribed application form of School of Petroleum Technology. The Application form will be made available at the selected branches of Oriental bank of Commerce by paying Rs.1,200/- or by
Sending a Demand Draft of Rs.1,200/- in favour of "Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University" payable at Ahmedabad.
Selection Criteria :
The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their AIEEE 2010 Rank. They will be called for counselling and will be offered admission in order of their merit (based on the AIEEE 2010 All India Ranking).
