National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai, invites applications for admission to Post Graduate Diploma programmes commencing in 2014.

Two year full time programmes and approved by AICTE.

The Programmes are offered in:

* Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Management (PGDIM)
NITIE's Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management (PGDIM) aims to groom young managers who will not only design better procedures and systems but also manage the associated technologies successfully. PGDIM blends classroom work and hands-on industry internship.

* Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Safety and Environmental Management (PGDISEM)
The PGDISEM curriculum encompasses both a managerial and technical perspectives. It introduces students to a systematic approach for the evaluation of environmental, social and economic impacts.

Apart from classroom teaching, emphasis is laid on industrial visits, practical case studies, industrial guest faculty, presentations and management games. Continuous interaction with the industries is sought through a series of seminars and various other events organized by the students and the 6 months internship.

Eligibility: Candidate should have Bachelor's degree in Engineering /Technology discipline with 60% ( 55% for SC/ST ) of marks from a recognised university.

Selection Procedure: The candidates are selected based on CAT score, group discussion and interview conducted by the institute.

To Apply : Application Fee of Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- in case of SC/ST/PD candidates) and applicable bank charges can be paid in the form of challan in any branch of State Bank of India.

Hard copy of the filled-in On-line Application duly signed by the candidate should be sent to Assistant Registrar (Academic), NITIE, Vihar Lake, P.O.NITIE, Mumbai 400 087, along with Institute’s copy of the challan and copies of the relevant certificates as mentioned in the instructions.

IIIE Industrial Engineering Admissions 2011

Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering-IIIE Admissions 2011

* Graduate in Industrial Engineering
* Post Graduate in Industrial Engineering and Management

Eligibility : For Graduation in Diploma in Engg. with 1 year working experience, H.Sc in Science / equivalent with 2 years of working experience or A pass in the first two years of Degree in Engg / Technology, Graduation in Science with 1 year of working experience, Degree in Engg / Technology.

Last Date for receipt of filled application forms for Admission is 15th October, 2011 with late fee of Rs.500/- - 25th October, 2011.

Application received after 25th Oct, will be automatically considered for August Exam. Written examination conducted in February and August each year at 24 centres all over India.

Graduateship in Industrial Engg of IIIE is recognized by Govt. of India at par with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engg from a recognised Indian University for recruitment / promotion and services in Central Govt.

for Post Graduation - Graduation of IIIE or equivalent Engineering Degree.

M.Sc in Industrial Engg and Management will be awarded by Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU), Nashik. Exams conducted in February and September at select centres.

2. For PGDISEM and PGDITM Courses: Few seats are available to Industry Sponsored Candidates. The candidates applying under the Industry Sponsored Category should also fill-in the Sponsorship Form. CAT is not required.
