CEED 2015 Application Process

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India has announced the exam dates for Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED-2015)

The CEED will be held on Sunday, December 07, 2014.

CEED is conducted for taking admission to Master of Design (M.Des.) program offered at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad & IIT Kanpur and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program in Design offered at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Kanpur for the academic session 2015.

Eligibility : Candidates must either have completed or be expecting to complete any of the following, by July 2015:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Architecture / Design/ Interior Design or equivalent (4 years programmes after 10+2)

Professional Diploma in Design (NID/CEPT or equivalent of 4 years duration after 10+2)

B.F.A. (4 year professional programme, after 10+2)

G.D. Art (5 year programme after 10th) with one year post qualification, professional experience

Master’s degree in Arts / Science / Computer Applications (2 year programme after 10+2+3)

NOTE

Candidates with 3 years Bachelors degree are not eligible

The candidate is responsible for showing eligibility while seeking admission to the specific programme in which they are interested

There is no age limit and a candidate can appear for CEED any number of times

To Apply : CEED Application Form must be submitted online, through the website The non-refundable application fee is Rs. 2000/- for men of General and OBC category, and Rs. 1000/- for SC/ST category, physically disabled (PD), and all women candidates

Women (All Categories) Rs. 1000/-

Candidates who claim to be in SC/ST/OBC category have to produce valid certificates issued by appropriate authorities

Fees can be paid via: State Bank of India Collect Facility via Internet Banking/Credit Cards/Debit cards

Instructions for Filling the ONLINE Application Form:

The applicant has to upload their photograph, signature and other documents

Paper copies of the form or any other documents must NOT be submitted CEED 2015 Online Application Interface requires that copies of your photograph and signature be uploaded as electronic files

Please upload good quality photographs

Poor quality of photographs submitted will lead to rejection of your CEED application, without any refund of the application fees

The CEED Score Card will include the photograph you submit and also a photograph that will be taken at the time of the exam

Scanned copy of your PwD certificate (pdf file) issued by an appropriate authority for PwD category (Appendix D)

Scanned copy of your eligibility certificate (pdf file); degree certificate if the course is completed or the certificate from the Principal of your college (Appendix E) if the course is not completed

Admit Cards

Admit cards will be available for downloading from the CEED website from 07th Nov 2014 to 06th Dec 2014

Please take a clear printout (in color) of the admit card before coming to the examination centre

Examination Centres

Bengaluru, Bhopal, Calicut, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kanpur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune and Thiruvananthapuram

After submission of the application, request for change of examination city will be accepted till 30th October 2014 with a fee of Rs. 500/- to be paid in the form of demand draft in favor of 'IIT Bombay’, payable at Mumbai

CEED 2013 IITs Common Entrance Examination for Design

Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) is an all India examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay), on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India.

The objective of CEED is to assess the candidate’s aptitude for design, involving visual perception ability, drawing skills, logical reasoning, creativity, and communication skills.

CEED is a qualifying examination for the following postgraduate programmes in design

* Master of Design Programmes

IISc Bangalore: M.Des in Product Design and Engineering

IIT Bombay: M.Des in Industrial Design, Visual Communication, Animation, Interaction Design, Mobility and Vehicle Design

IIT Delhi: M.Des in Industrial Design

IIT Guwahati: M.Des in Design

IIT Kanpur: M.Des in Industrial Design

* Ph.D Programmes in Design IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay
GATE qualified candidates will also be considered for admission to these programmes

IIIE Industrial Engineering Admissions 2011

Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering-IIIE Admissions 2011

* Graduate in Industrial Engineering
* Post Graduate in Industrial Engineering and Management

Eligibility : For Graduation in Diploma in Engg. with 1 year working experience, H.Sc in Science / equivalent with 2 years of working experience or A pass in the first two years of Degree in Engg / Technology, Graduation in Science with 1 year of working experience, Degree in Engg / Technology.

Last Date for receipt of filled application forms for Admission is 15th October, 2011 with late fee of Rs.500/- - 25th October, 2011.

Application received after 25th Oct, will be automatically considered for August Exam. Written examination conducted in February and August each year at 24 centres all over India.

Graduateship in Industrial Engg of IIIE is recognized by Govt. of India at par with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engg from a recognised Indian University for recruitment / promotion and services in Central Govt.

M.Sc in Industrial Engg and Management will be awarded by Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU), Nashik. Exams conducted in February and September at select centres.

To Apply for SPA PG Architecture Programmes
Prospectus and Information Bulletin can be obtained from the bankers of the School i.e. UCO Bank Branches from Delhi: IIPA (I.P.Estate, Ring Road), Defence Colony (Near Mool Chand Flyover), Cannaught Place (Near Marina Hotel), Karol Bagh (Arya Samaj Road), Som Vihar (R.K.Puram), Punjabi Bagh (Ring Road), Banglore, Pune, Nagpur, Kolkata and Mumbai against payment of the Application Fee of Rs.750 (Rupees seven hundred fifty only) in cash during banking hours.

Requests for application form by post must be accompanied by a crossed demand draft of Rs.750 (Rupees seven hundred fifty only) on any nationalized bank and drawn in favor of SCHOOL OF PLANING AND ARCHITECTURE payable at NEW DELHI. All such requests are to be addressed to the Registrar of the School. Payment by cheque is not acceptable.

Candidates can apply online at http://www.spa.ac.in/AppForm.aspx for SPA Architectural PG Programmes Candidates, who are yet to appear for their final examinations, are also eligible to apply provided their final results are published before 25th July, 2009.

Note:
Separate application forms are to be submitted for each course. There are no restrictions on the number of courses that the candidate may appl for. Each application form must be submitted alongwith DD of Rs.750/- in favour of School of Planning and Architecture, payable at New Delhi.

Copies of the certificates, mark sheets/testimonials, etc. are not to be attached with the application.

Dates Submission of SPA PG Programme Application
All applications together with letters of recommendations, Portfolio and payment should reach SPA not later than 30th April, 2009. Online applications will close after 24th April 2009.
