India-US Higher Education Summit 2011
India-US Higher Education Summit aimed at providing a platform for government and education leaders from both countries to outline their vision for 21st century education engagement will be held on October 13.
The United States and Indian Governments will convene a summit on higher education in Washington, DC on October 13, 2011, chaired by Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and Minister of Human Resource Development Kapil Sibal. The Summit will explore how government, universities, and business can collaborate to create innovative and sustained higher education partnerships between the United States and India. The two governments also announced an expanded U.S.-India Higher Education Dialogue as a forum for deepening linkages and cooperation. The dialogue will occur annually and will incorporate U.S. and Indian higher education officials and members of the private sector on a rotating basis.

MDI GURGAON Fellow/Executive Fellow Program in Management 2010
MDI GURGAON Fellow Program / Executive Fellow Program in Management (July 2010)
FPM / EFPM, a Doctoral level program, prepares top researchers and academicians for business, industry, government and non-government organisations. EFPM is a non-residential program meant for executives working in India or abroad.
Areas of Specialization : Business Communications, Economics, Finance, Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource, Information Systems, Marketing, Operations, Public Policy and Governance, Strategy.
FPM / EFPM Eligibility Criteria-:
1. A master’s degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade point average recognized by AICTE /AIU with bachelor’s degree / equivalent qualification after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) (OR)
2. Five year integrated Masters Degree Programme in any discipline with at least 60% marks, obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent (OR)
3. A professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS with at least 60%marks or equivalent grade point average (OR)
4. 4 years / 8 semester bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech./B. Arch. etc.) with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade point average. Those appearing for their final examinations in the respective disciplines can also apply.
5. For EFPM, a minimum of 10 years of managerial / executive work experience is required. The minimum age for the EFPM candidate is 35 years as on 1st January 2010.
Selection Process for FPM /EFPM-:
Candidates who have appeared/are appearing for the CAT / GMAT / GRE / GATE / UGC-JRF (two years from the date of the standard test and should be valid on the deadline of submission of the application form) will be shortlisted on the basis of the details in the application form and the scores of aforementioned tests. Only the shortlisted candidates will then be called for interaction with Area faculty followed by Personal interviews on 20 – 30th March 2010 at MDI Campus.
Application Form-:
The Information Brochure and Application Form shall be available on payment of Rs. 750/- in cash at Admission Office, MDI Campus or by sending a demand draft of Rs. 850/- in favor of the Management Development Institute, payable at New Delhi, if by post, from 23rd November 2009. Applicants can also apply online and send the DD of Rs. 850/- by post. The last date of receipt of filled in Application Form at MDI is 29 January 2010.
