Delhi University to Launch PGD Cyber Security and Law

Delhi University (DU) will soon be launching a post graduate diploma in Cyber Security and Law.

According to reports, the programme caters to the niche domain of cyber security with a unique combination of cyber laws.

Course details:

The course is likely to start from February next year and classes will commence from March

The course will be held in two semesters will six papers in each

The programme intends to produce professionals who can administer security for varied virtual platforms, banks, social media, industrial applications, mobile data and cloud interface.This course will be offered by the Department of Operational Research, Department of Computer Science, and Department of Commerce.

Diploma through Distance learning : One year Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber Law, run by Rajiv Gandhi National Cyber Law Centre, a Centre of Excellence in Cyber Law (established by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi). The minimum eligibility is two years L.L.M Degree with at least 55% of marks in the aggregate for Ph.D Programme and Graduate Degree from a recognized university for P.G Diploma Programme.
