National Law School of India University (NLSIU) invites applications for admission to the following courses under Distance Education Programme for the Academic Year 2017 – 2018.

1)One Year P.G Diploma in Environment : Law Science and Technology, Approved by U.G.C under innovative programme.

2) One year Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber Law, run by Rajiv Gandhi National Cyber Law (established by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi)

P.G. Diploma through Distance learning : One year Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber Law, run by Rajiv Gandhi National Cyber Law Centre, a Centre of Excellence in Cyber Law (established by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi). The minimum eligibility is two years L.L.M Degree with at least 55% of marks in the aggregate for Ph.D Programme and Graduate Degree from a recognized university for P.G Diploma Programme.

National Law School Of India University-NLSUI Distance Education Courses in Law 2011

The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) offers academic programmes in distance education mode to enable interested candidates in expanding their legal knowledge in a globalized world. Distance education programmes do not have barriers of age restriction. The minimum eligibility is a graduate degree from a recognized university.

Applications are invited for admission to the following courses under Distance Education Programme for the Academic Year 2011-12.

Two Year Master of Business Laws (M.B.L) Programme
One Year P.G. Diploma Courses.

Human Rights Law (PGDHRL)
Medical Law and Ethics (PGDMLE)
Environmental Law (PGDEL)
Intellectual Property Rights Law (PGDIPRL)
Child Rights Law (PGDCRL)
Consumer Law and Protection (PGDCLP)

All the above courses are recognized by the Distance Education Council, IGNOU New Delhi

Any Graduate from a recognized University is eligible to apply. There is no restriction as to the age or percentage of marks obtained.

For application to any of the above, kindly write to the Coordinator, Distance Education Department, National Law School of India University, Nagarbhavi, Bangalore - 560 242 (Old Pin.: 560 072) along with a Demand Draft for Rs.1,000/- drawin in favour of Registrar, NLSIU and payable at Bangalore.

National Law School Distance Admissions 2009

The National Law School of India University, Bangalore provides for academic programmes, in distance education mode, to enable people who are interested in learning more and equipping themselves with legal knowledge, with an urge to meet the new challenges. There is no age limit, it is open for any graduate of any recognized University. Those who have appeared for the final year degree exam and are awaiting results, may also apply. The courses available are for distance courses admissions 2009

• A two year Master of Business Laws (P.G. Degree)
• One year P.G. Diploma in Human Rights Law
• One year P.G. Diploma in Medical Law and Ethics
• One year P.G. Diploma in Environmental Law
• One year P.G. Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights Law

Distance Learning PG in LAW at NSL

The National Law School of India University provides for academic programmes, in distance education mode, to enable people who are interested in learning more and equipping themselves with legal knowledge, with an urge to meet the new challenges. There is no age limit, it is open for any graduate of any recognized University. The courses available are:

• A two year Master of Business Laws (P.G. Degree)
• One year P.G. Diploma in Human Rights Law
• One year P.G. Diploma in Medical Law and Ethics
• One year P.G. Diploma in Environmental Law
• One year P.G. Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights Law
• One year P.G. Diploma in Child Rights Law

The courses start in July every year. Admissions are completed by 30 June, every year. However at the discretion of the Director, and for justifiable reasons, candidates may be admitted upto 31 st August on payment of late fee of Rs.500/-.

The Distance Education Committee of the National Law School of India University, Bangalore comprises of the Director, the Registrar, some of the Senior Faculty members, Course Co-ordinators and Co-ordinator of Distance Education Department. The Council makes policy decisions from time to time, directs structuring of new courses or restructuring of existing courses, monitors the administrative functioning and issues all necessary directions for the smooth functioning of the courses.

To get the form and the related handbook send a DD of Rs.1000/- favouring the Registrar, NLSIU, Bangalore . The cover containing the DD may be addressed to

The issue of form and Handbook will commence from 1st April, every year. Cost of the form and Handbook is Rs.1000/-. The filled-in form may be submitted on or before 30th June without late fee and 31st August with late fee of Rs.500.
