AIPMT 2012 Application Process

All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination, 2012

AIPMT entrance examination is being conducted exclusively for the 15% merit positions for the Medical/Dental Colleges of India as specified in the directive of the court and will be governed by the rules and regulations specified for the same by the Government of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare from time to time. The responsibility of the CBSE is limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of result and providing merit list to the DGHS as per their instructions. The counselling for successful candidates is conducted by the DGHS. During counselling, the eligibility criteria, various documents, etc. of the candidate is verified and Medical/Dental College is allotted to the candidate according to the choice.

The entrance examination consists of:

Preliminary Examination: The Preliminary Examination would consist of one paper containing 200 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen only. The duration of paper would be 3 hours.

Final Examination: (Only for those who qualify in the Preliminary Examination). The Final Examination would consist of one paper containing 120 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen only. The duration of paper would be 3 hours.

DMIMS Medical Courses Admissions 2012

Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences DMIMS Post Graduate Degree and Diploma Courses Admissions 2012 through entrance test on February 5, 2012.

Degree Courses are available in Physiology, Pharmacology, Dermatology, Venerology, Radio Diagnosis, Orthodontics, Conservative Dentistry and other streams. Likewise, Diploma Courses in Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, Oral Medicine and other disciplines are offered.

Eligibility :
For applying to MD or MS and Diploma Courses, a candidate must be holding MBBS Degree from a medical college recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) with an internship completed or due to complete by March 31, 2012.

Those holding a BDS Degree from a Dental College recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI) and have undergone internship or will be completing the same by March 31, 2012 are eligible to appear for MDS and Diploma Courses.

Application forms will be received till January 27, 2012 and the test will be held at V.T. Convent and Junior College, Nagpur.

Entrance Examination for Admission to Dental Postgraduate Courses (MDS)

Entrance Examination (PGD-CET 2011) for Dental Postgraduate Courses (MDS) will be held on Sunday 6th Feb, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m

The cost of application form along with the information Brochure of PGD-CET 2011 and examination fee is Rs.1800/- to be payable by Demand Draft / pay order drawn on any Nationalised or Scheduled commercial Bank in favour of "Director, Medical Education and Research, Mumbai" payable at Mumbai. The Brochure and Application Form will be available at the following institutions from 29/12/2010 to 11/01/2011 (Excluding Sundays and State Government Holidays). Aspiring candidates should go through the eligibility criteria as per the PGD - CET - 2011 brochure, which is available on website www.dmer.org before purchasing the application form.

AIPMT 2011 Application Process

All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Examination (AIPMT) 2011 to be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education,CBSE Delhi as per the following schedule for admission to 15% of the total seats for Medical/Dental Courses in all Medical/Dental Colleges run by the Union of India, State Governments, Municipal and other local authorities in India except in the States of ANDHRAPRADESH and JAMMU & KASHMIR


Schedule of AIPMT 2011

1. Preliminary Examination-3rd April,2011 (Sunday)
2. Final Examination -15th May, 2011 (Sunday)


PATTERN OF EXAMINATION of AIPMT 2011

Both Preliminary and Final Examination would be Objective type.


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA of AIPMT 2011

(i) He/She has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31 * December of the year of his/her admission to the 1" yearM.B.B.S./B.D.S. course and is an INDIAN NATIONAL.

(ii) The upper age limit for All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination is 25 years as on 31* December of the year of the entrance examination. Further provided that upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes.

(iii) The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio- technology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% for General Candidates. Further, for persons for locomotory disability of lower limbs, the minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ ST-PH/OBC-PH are required.

Those who are taking plus two examination in 2011 can also appear for the entrance test provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later.


RESERVATION OF SEATS of AIPMT 2011

15% seats for SC candidates, 7.5% seats for ST candidates, 27% seats for non-creamy layer OBC candidates in Central Institutions only and 3% seats on horizontal basis for Physically Handicapped candidates are reserved in 15% All India Quota for MBBS/BDS courses.


HOW TO APPLY for AIPMT 2011

(i) Online application procedure for AIPMT 2011
Online submission of application maybe made by accessing the Board's website www.aipmt.nic.in from 15.11.2010 (10.00 A.M.) to 31.12.2010 (5.00 P.M.). Instructions for sending online application, payment of fee and computer generated printout are available on website. Candidates submitting on-line application have been given exemption of Rs. 100/- in the examination fee irrespective of their category.

Accordingly, fee of Rs. 700/- for General/OBC Category Candidates and Rs. 350/- for SC/ST Category Candidates may be remitted in the following ways:
1. By Credit Card, or
2. Through Demand Draft in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi drawn on any Nationalized Bank payable at Delhi.

(ii) Offline application procedure for AIPMT 2011
Offline submission of Application may be made on the prescribed Application Form. The Information Bulletin and Application Form costing Rs.800/- for General/OBC Category and Rs.450/- for SC/ST category can be obtained against Cash Payment from the designated branches of Canara Bank/Regional Offices of the CBSE between 13.12.2010 to 31.12.2010.

Information Bulletin and Application Form can also be obtained by Post from the Board by sending a written request with a Demand Draft for Rs.850/- for General/OBC Category and Rs.500/- for SC/ST Category payable to the Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi along with a Self Addressed Envelope of size 12" x 10". The request must reach to the Board on or before 24.12.2010. The request should be superscribed as "Request for Information Bulletin and Application Form for AIPMT-2011".

* Candidates must purchase the Application forms from the designated branches of Canara Bank or Regional Offices of CBSE only. Application form obtained from an unauthorized source will be REJECTED.
* Candidates are advised to dispatch their filled in application forms through Registered Post / Speed Post only. Candidates are also advised NOT to dispatch Application Form by courier.
* Application may be submitted with late fee also. Related details are available on website.
* Application forms after last date will not be accepted irrespective of the date of booking
