National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducts DNB Final examination 2017. Exam dates are from 8th, 9th and 10th December 2017. Various Broad and Super Specialties exam are there. NBE has released application form on website. Candidates must send application form soon so that it reaches office before last date.

DNB Final December 2017 is a qualifying examination. It comprises of Theory and Practicals. Applications are invited from aspiring medical candidates.

NEET UG 2017 Application Process

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an official notification of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Undergraduate (UG) 2017.

The candidates are required to fill the application online, before filling up the online application form.

Here are some instructions for completing the online application form:

The candidate, before submitting the application form online, shall satisfy his/her eligibility to appear in the test

The candidate should fill his/her complete postal address with the pin code and e-mail address (own or parents only) for future correspondence

Candidate must ensure mobile numbers, email -ID filled in the online application form as board will make communication by them

Provide code number against the column provided for qualifying examination passed

The application form other than online mode would not be accepted, in any case

The candidates are not required to send the confirmation page of his/her online application form to the board

Candidates from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and J&K are required to submit online self declaration

Request for change in any particulars in the online application shall not be entertained under any circumstances

Incomplete applications shall be rejected

Candidates must submit only one application form. If a candidate submits more than one application form, his/her candidature will be cancelled

The candidates must keep in mind that any online transaction password generated on the NEET website while registering/submitting the form will be valid for 15 minutes. After the lapse of this period, candidates need to click on the link, 'Resend' OTP to generate new OTP.

AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam 2016

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has released the examination dates for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme for the session 2016. The entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 29, 2016.

Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification:
The candidates should have completed class 12 from a recognised board or institute.

Age limit:
The minimum age of the candidates should be 17 years.

Application fee:
The general/OBC and SC/ST candidates are required to make the payment of Rs 1,000 and Rs 800 respectively.

How to apply:
The eligible candidates should apply online, at aiimsexams.org

Paper pattern:

The exam will be held for a duration of three and a half hours. The test will have 200 objective type (multiple choice and reason-assertion type) questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge. The candidates must note that negative marking is applicable.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has announced that the WBJEEM 2015 (West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam) for the academic session 2015-2016 will be held on 18 April and 19 April, 2015.

WBJEEM 2015 the common entrance examination for admission to undergraduate level courses of BE/B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Pharm and MBBS/BDS offered in different Universities / Colleges in West Bengal for the academic session 2015-2016 will be held on 18th (Saturday) and 19th (Sunday) of April, 2015.

The syllabi for the upcoming WBJEEM 2015 exams have been revised recently. The syllabi has been updated to:
i) Avoid any bias towards students any particular school/Board
ii) Leave out more descriptive topics and to give more importance to the analytical ones.
iii) Focus more on the depth of the syllabi rather than the extent of coverage.

The test for medical and engineering courses is similar in pattern. There are two separate tests for medical and engineering courses. The only difference between the papers is that, that the Medical exam has Biology paper while the engineering exam has the Mathematics paper.

The exam is totally objective. It consists of 80 MCQs and is divided into two sections. Section-1 consists of 60 MCQs of 1 mark each while Section-2 consists of 20 MCQs of 2 marks each. Negative making is applicable. 30% of the total marks is deducted for each wrong answer.

Eligibility:

Medical and Allied courses

(a) For MBBS, BDS, BSMS: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognised equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology/Biotechnology separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology put together, are eligible. In the absence of Biology, Biotechnology will be considered as a subject for academic eligibility,

(b) For admission to BAMS/ BHMS courses: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognised equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together, are eligible.

(c) For admission to B.Sc.(Hons.)Agri., B.Sc.(Hons) Forestry, BFSc courses: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognised equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together, are eligible.

(d) For admission to BVSc. & AH Course: Candidates should have secured not less than 50% aggregate marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology for the qualifying examination, in addition to the condition as stipulated in clause 6.2.1 (a(iii)) as per regulation 5 of Minimum standards of Veterinary Education Degree Course (BVSc & AH) Regulation, 1993.

(e) Eligibility of BSc. Degree holders : Candidates who have passed the BSc Degree (Three year course) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany or Biotechnology as Main, and any one or two of the above subjects as Subsidiaries, with 50% marks for Main & Subsidiaries taken together, subject to the condition that they have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or examinations recognised as equivalent thereto with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects are eligible for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS and BSMS courses.

Engineering Courses:

(f) (i) Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50 % marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission. However candidates who have obtained 45% marks in Mathematics separately with 60% aggregate marks in Physics and Chemistry put together are also eligible for admission.

(g) (ii) Candidates who have Diploma in Engineering awarded by the Board of Technical Examinations, or an examination recognised equivalent thereto, by the State Board of Technical Education after undergoing an institutional course of at least 3 years from an Institution approved by AICTE, securing a minimum of 50% marks in the final year Diploma Examination are eligible for admission to the special reservation quota (DE) as shown in Clause 52.9.

(h) (iii) Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or examinations recognised as equivalent thereto, with 50 % marks in Mathematics/Biology separately, and 50 % marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology put together are eligible for admission to the seats reserved for Dairy Farm Instructors of Dairy Development Department for B.Tech. (D.Sc. & Tech). However, the candidates admitted to the course have to take a make-up course in Basic Mathematics (2+0) credits or Applied Biology (1+1) credit as the case may be.

Architecture Course :

(i) (i) Minimum academic eligibility for admission to B. Arch.: 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised Board with Mathematics as a subject of study by securing 50% marks in aggregate. OR 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by Central/State Governments with 50% aggregate marks. OR International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination, (ii) In addition to the academic eligibility prescribed (a), only those candidates who score 40 % or 80 marks out of 200 (for all categories of candidates) in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) wil be considered for admission to B. Arch, course. There is no relaxation in the minimum passing score of NATA. The candidates are advised to qualify in NATA sufficiently earlier than 31.05.2014.

(j) There is no provision for lateral admission to the second year or at any stage during the 5 year course in Architecture.

(k) Candidates who have a Diploma in Engineering awarded by the Board of Technical Examinations, or an examination recognized equivalent thereto, by the State Board of Technical Education after undergoing an institutional course of at least 3 years from an Institution approved by AICTE securing a minimum of 50% marks in the final year Diploma Examination are eligible for admission to BArch. Course.

Age: The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31″ December, 2014.

Schedule for the Entrance Examinations :

Entrance Examinations will be held at all the District Centres in Kerala, New Delhi, Mumbai, Ranchi, Shillong and Dubai (UAE), on the dates mentioned below as per Indian Standard Time (1ST), Engineering Entrance Examination alone will be held at Ranchi and Shillong centres.

Engineering Entrance exam will be held on 21.04-2014 and 22.04.2014

Medical Entrance exam will be held on 23.04-2014 and 24.04.2014

Veterinary Council of India invites applications for All India Pre-Veterinary Test 2014 (AIPVT), for filling up 15% of total number of seats in Veterinary Colleges in India (except from Jammu & Kashmir State) from Indian Nationals for admission to 1st year of 5yr B.V.Sc. & A.H. course for academic session 2014-2015.

All India Pre-Veterinary Test- AIPVT 2014 will be held on 10-05-2014,


Eligibility

(A) Nationality: Candidates should be Indian Nationals except the State of Jammu & Kashmir.

(B) Essential Qualifications: He/She has passed:-

(i) The Higher Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years of study the last two years of study with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council for Education Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 (years) educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education.

OR

(ii) The Intermediate Science examination in science from a recognized University/Board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (which shall include a practical test in these subjects) and English.

Minimum Marks: 50% marks for General Category in aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Chemistty Biology and English at 10+2/lntermediate Science Examination. Provided also that to be eligible for All India Pre-Veterinary Test the candidate must have passed the aforesaid subjects individually. For the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste/the Scheduled Tribes or other special category (Other Backward Classes) of students as specified by the Government from time to time, marks required for admission shall be 10% less than that prescribed for General Category.

(C ) Age:- He/She has attained or will attain the age of Seventeen (17) years as on 31st December, 2014. Candidates attaining seventeen years on 1* of January, 2015 or later will not be eligible to appear at the All India Pre-Veterinary Test.

Application Form for AIPVT 2014:

(A) The Information Bulletin and Application Form can be obtained by post from Controller of Examination, Veterinary Council of India, ‘A’ Wing, 2nd Floor, August Kranti Bhawan, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi-110066, by sending a demand draft for Rs. 1600/- for General/OBC Category and Rs. 850/- for SC/ST category (including examination fee, processing and other charges) in favour of “Veterinary Council of India-Examination Fund” payable at New Delhi on any Scheduled Bank. While requesting for Information Bulletin and Application Form by post, the candidates should send:-

(i) Demand Draft for Rs. 1600/- for General/OBC Category and Rs. 850/- for SC/ST category.

(ii)Two plain paper slips with name and complete address (in CAPITAL LETTERS) with PIN-code.

(B) The Information Bulletin and Application Form can also be obtained by hand from the office of the following Registrars of State Veterinary Councils on payment of Rs. 1500/- for General/OBC Category and Rs. 750/- for SC/ST category through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Veterinary Council of India Examination Fund” payable at New Delhi on any Scheduled Bank:-

COMEDK PGET 2014 Application Process

Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka- COMEDK invites applications for admission to Post Graduate Medical/ Dental Courses in its 12 Medical and 19 Dental Member Institutions through COMDEK PGET 2014 which will be held on 02/02/2014.

Eligibility :

Must possess recognized M.B.B.S. / B.D.S. degree or equivalent qualification and should have obtained permanent registration with the Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India, or any of the State Medical / Dental Council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of admission. Must have completed or completing their internship by 30/04/2014 at the latest.

The minimum percentage of marks in the Entrance Test (COMEDK PGET-2014) for eligibility and admission to Post Graduate Courses shall be 50% for General Merit candidates and 40% for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes (All India) and Other Backward Classes belonging to Karnataka State only.

Goa Medical/Engineering Admissions GCET 2014

Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa, has announced the Goa Common Entrance Test GCET-2014 for the year 2014.

GCET-2014 entrance exam will be conducted for admissions to Medical, Dental, Engineering courses across the state.

GCET-2014 for admissions to Bachelor's degree courses of MBBS, BDS, BHMS, B.E and B.Pharm in Government, Government-aided and un-aided colleges in Goa commencing in the session 2014-15.

GCET-2014 shall be conducted in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology, based on Std XIIth syllabus prescribed in these subjects by Goa Board, for March-2014 exam.

Each paper will consist of 75 (Seventy Five) questions, of one mark each, to be answered in two hours, with no negative marking.

Uttar Pradesh Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association (UPUMCWA), Bareilly, has announced Combined Medical Entrance Test (UPCMET) for admission to MBBS in private Medical Colleges across the state for the year 2014.

Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination of UP Board / ISC / CBSE or its equivalent from any recognised board with English as a subject, obtained a minimum of 50% (40% for SC/ST/OBC) of marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology counted together.

Candidates must have completed the age of 17 years as on 31 Dec 2014.

AIPGMEE 2014 Application Process

National Board of Examinations will conduct All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE) for admission All India 50% quota of MD/MS/PG Diploma courses 2014 session offered at Government Medical Colleges /Institutions except states of Andhra Pradesh and J&K.

The AIPGMEE shall be conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT) from November 25th 2013 to December 6th 2013.

The State Governments of Haryana, Punjab, Chhattisgarh and University of Delhi shall utilize the results of AIPGMEE 2014 for admission to MD/MS/ PG Diploma courses at colleges under their control. These states shall not be conducting any state entrance examination of their own.

Admission to MD/MS/ PG Diploma courses at institutes under Armed Forces Medical Services shall also be made on the basis of results of AIPGMEE 2014.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who are in possession of MBBS degree/ Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate from an Institute (except colleges/ universities located in Jammu & Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh) recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act and possess permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India / State Medical Council and have completed one year of internship or likely to complete on or before 31st March 2014.

Composite examination fee and information bulletin voucher (required for online application system) can be obtained from selected branches of Axis Bank on payment of Rs. 3750 for General/OBC and Rs. 2750 for SC/ST/PWD Category, (refer website for list of branches)

DNB CET is the eligibility-cum-ranking examination for entry to various Post Graduate courses in modern medicine under the National Board of Examination (NBE)

NBE Shall be conducting DNB CET as a computer Based Test from 15th November to 21st November at test centres across the country

MH-SSET-2013 Application Process

Common Entrance Examination for admission to DM/MCh Medical Postgraduate Superspeciality Courses Common Entrance Examination "MH-SSET-2013" for admission to DM / MCh Medical Postgraduate Superspeciality courses in the State of Maharashtra for the academic year 2013-2014 will be held on Wednesday, 12th June, 2013 at Mumbai. KEA CET 2013 Application Process

Karnataka Examinations Authority-KEA, Bangalore conducts Common Entrance Test (CET-2013) on May 01, 02 and 03, 2013 for admission to first year undergraduate courses like Medicine and Homeopathy, Engineering/ Technology courses for the academic year 2013-14.

KEA CET 2013 is conducted for admission to the undergraduate courses in Engineering, Medical, Dental, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Unani, Naturopathy, Yoga and Architecture.

All candidates had to compulsorily affix their left hand thumb impression in their CET application form

Submit the form in the designated dates.

How to fill application form:

The KCET 2013 Application Form should be filled legibly with BLUE or BLACK Ball Point Pen only. Candidates have to fill and shade the application form as per the instructions given in the application brochure.

The data filled by the candidate once in KCET 2013 Application Form will be final.

The candidate should carefully completely fill the form so as to avoid rejection.

The candidates should not leave any space blank. They should write NA for the conditions that don’t apply to them.

The photographs pasted on the KCET 2013 Application Form, only one is to be attested by the Principal, the other one is for scanning and should not be tampered with.

Candidates should carefully affix their Complete sign on the KCET 2013 Application Form at the specified spaces along with the dates and also put their left hand thumb Impression in blue ink on the form.

After completely filling the Application Form, the candidates have to submit the forms.

The candidates who obtained the form from the School or the institute they study in will have to submit their forms to the Principal till the second week of April 2013. Such Candidates cam obtain their admit cards after the third week of April 2013 from the same institutes.

The candidates who have obtained their KCET 2013 Application Form via speed post will have to submit their completely filled forms via Speed Post directly to KEA till the second week of April 2013. Such candidates will get their Admit Cards via Speed Post only.

This examination is the prerequisite for admission into various professional courses offered in University/ Private Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

2. Pay the requisite fee and Obtain a receipt for Registration fee paid and ensure that it contains a Transaction Id.
3. Log on to www.apeamcet.org using the "Transaction Id" given above.

Through Debit / Credit card :

1.If you choose to make payment using Debit / Credit card mode, go through the Instruction booklet / User Guide carefully and be ready with ALL the required mandatory details given below .
2.Mandatory details (Same as mentioned above) includes Hall ticket number of qualifying examination, Name of the Candidate, Candidate's Father Name, Date of Birth of the Candidate, Hall Ticket number of S.S.C(10th Class), Mobile number and Stream applying for.
3.After entering the details above, Click on the " Make Payment " Button and proceed to fill the online application form.
4.During the payment process don't click the Back/Refresh buttons or don't close the browser page abruptly.
5.After successful payment through Debit/Credit Card, a "Transaction Id" is generated and displayed on the screen. Then proceed to fill the online application.

NEET-UG 2013 Simplified Information

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi is the conducting body for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG). CBSE will conduct the NEET-UG exam for Undergraduate Medical / Dental courses admissions.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate Medical / Dental courses like MBBS/BDS admissions across the country. In order to be eligible for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses for a particular academic year, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain minimum marks in ‘National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test' held for the said academic year besides obtaining minimum prescribed marks at the qualifying examination.

All admissions to MBBS/BDS courses within the respective categories shall be based solely on marks obtained in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test.

The NEET (UG) Entrance Examination shall consist of one paper containing 180 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology).

The duration of paper would be 3 hours.
