NAARM PGDMA is a 2 year, fully residential programme approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) designed to prepare students for management-related careers in the agriculture and food and allied sectors. The candidates for the programme are selected from pan India through rigorous selection procedure to maintain high standards. The programme aims at enabling students to acquire the critical competitiveness for functioning as effective Agribusiness managers, amalgamating sensitivity towards grass root level needs with corporate world expertise.

Eligibility:

The minimum qualification for admission to the PGDMA is a four year bachelor’s degree from any Agricultural University or Institution recognized by the ICAR / UGC in Agriculture, Agri-Business Management/ Commercial Agriculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Information Technology, Agricultural Bioinformatics, Agricultural Biotechnology, Dairy Science/Technology, Fisheries, Food Technology/Food Process Engineering, Forestry, Horticulture, Sericulture and Veterinary Sciences.

The students completing their degree latest by July 1, 2014 are also eligible to apply.

Admission of students to the PGDMA programme is done on the basis of scores obtained in CAT 2013 / CMAT 2013, group discussion, personal interview and academic record.

National Academy of Agriculture Research Management-NAARM Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Agriculture) Admissions 2013-2015

Eligibility - The minimum qualification is four year Bachelor's degree from any Agricultural University or Institution recognized by ICAR/UGC in Agriculture, Agri-Business Management/Commercial Agriculture, Agriculture Marketing and Cooperation, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Bioinformatics, Agricultural Biotechnology, Dairy Science/Technology, Fisheries, Food Technology/Food Process Engineering, Forestry, Horticulture, Sericulture and Veterinary Sciences. The appearing students who are going to complete their degree by 30th June, 2013 are also eligible to apply.

Admission Process - The interested candidates for admission to PGDMA@NAARM will be screened on the basis of CAT 2012 scores. The short-listed candidates only will be called for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Final Selection will be done on the basis of CAT scores, academic record and scored obtained in GD & PI. JOINT ENTRANCE TEST FOR AGRI BUSINESS MANAGEMENT, 2011 (JET - ABM, 2011)

The three national institutions under the Ministry of Agriculture will conduct a Joint Entrance Test - Agri Business Management (JET - ABM) on Sunday, March 27, 2011 for selection of candidates to their respective Post-Graduate Programmes in Agri Business Management recognized by AICTE.


(i) National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Rajendranagar, Hyderabad - 500 030 - PGDM(ABM)
(ii)Chaudhary Charan Singh National Institute of Agricultural Marketing (CCS-NIAM), Bambala, Kota Road, Jaipur-302 033 - PGDM(ABM) and
(iii)National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM), Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad-500407-PGDMA


Candidates will be short-listed for further steps in selection process based on the JET-ABM. Detailed criteria for various parameters in the selection process will be published on respective institutions' websites and brochures. The application form and detailed instructions may also be obtained by post by sending a request along with an Indian Postal Order / Demand Draft of Rs.100/- to any of the three institutions. The envelope seeking requests for hard copies of applications must be marked "Application for JET-ABM, 2011".
