Eligibility:Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any of the subjects mentioned: Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, BHMS, BAMS, Physiotherapy and others with a minimum of 50% as aggregate.

Selection of the candidates will be based on the merit of the entrance exam conducted by the Institute of Science.

Eligibility
A three-year bachelor's degree (10+2+3) or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.

Candidates appearing in the final year of the Bachelors Degree and completing all requirement for obtaining the degree by June 25th, 2014 can also apply provided they furnish the proof of having met with the minimum eligibility criteria by September 30, 2014. The candidates failed to meet the minimum eligibility criteria will be asked to withdraw from the programme. The tuition fee paid by such candidates will be forfeited unless such vacant seats are filled by other candidates.

The Institute provides Merit and Merit-cum-Means Scholarships for deserving candidates.

NIRMA Institute MBA is a two year full-time, residential programme of the Institute. Selection Process

The selection procedure for admission consists of two steps :

Written Test-:
Applicants for the full-time programme are required to appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT-2009) conducted by the IIMs.

Group Discussion and Personal Interview
Candidates short-listed on the basis of their performance in the written test will be called for group discussion and personal interview. The group discussion/personal interview will be held at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, and New Delhi. The final selection to the programme would be based on the candidate’s performance in the written test, group discussion, personal interview and work experience.

The following weightage will be given for each component of the selection criteria :
Written Test : 70%
Personal Interview : 20%
Group Discussion : 10%

An additional score upto 10 points for work experience will also be given for full-time work experience at managerial level in a professional organization.
