IIT MBA Admissions 2021

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) has begun the online registration process for admission to various postgraduate management (MBA) courses for the academic session 2021-22.

IITs will be considering the score of the Common Admission Test (CAT 2021) for shortlisting the candidates for their 2 years full-time MBA programme.

Though the IITs admit the candidates on the basis of the CAT score, each of them works independently and have their own selection process comprising the group discussion (GD) and the personal interview (PI). Though the selection process for IIT MBA admission is on similar lines as that of the IIMs, however, the IITs function independently in this regard.

The IITs which offer the two years regular MBA programmes and admit the candidates on the basis of the CAT score are:

• IIT Delhi

• IIT Kanpur

• IIT Kharagpur

• IIT Dhanbad

• IIT Bombay

• IIT Jodhpur

• IIT Madras  

  Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the IIT MBA admissions 2021 online by visiting the different IITs on their respective websites on or before January 31, 2021.

IIT Roorkee has invited applications for admission to MBA programmes 2015.

Eligibility criteria: Aspirants should have Bachelor's degree in any discipline of engineering/technology with first class or its equivalent, or a master's degree with first class or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised institution or university.

Final-year students are also eligible to apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally, provided they complete all requirements for the qualifying degree with minimum percentage and CGPA or its equivalent by the specified date.

Selection procedure: The candidates would be selected based on their CAT percentile, group discussion, interview performance and work experience.

In MBA 2015, candidates need to register and fill the application ONLINE only from next day of declaration of CAT-2014 results by accessing http://pgadm.iitr.ernet.in on or before January 13, 2015 and download the online filled application and bank challan
simultaneously. Then the fee must be deposited in the State Bank of India through bank challan on next working day. The application process is completed only when a print out of the filled ONLINE application with the candidate’s signature, IITR copy of bank challan and a good quality photo affixed in the appropriate places is sent to the Chairman, PG Admissions Office, IIT Roorkee, Roorkee - 247 667, Uttarakhand along with necessary documents (i.e. CAT Scorecard, result of qualifying exam and OBC/SC/ST/PD category certificate if any), on or before January 17, 2015.

Application Fee:
All GEN/OBC candidates - Rs 1,600.
All SC/ST/PD candidates - Rs 800.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi invites application for admission to Full Time Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme, commencing in the session 2015.

1. Full Time MBA (Generic) [Code: DLM]
A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.



2. Full Time MBA (Telecom) [Code: DLT]
Bachelor's Degree in any branch of Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Pharmacy/ B.Sc. Agriculture Engineering (minimum 4 years after 10+2)

Or

Bachelor's degree in any branch of Physical/Chemical/Mathematical Sciences like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Application, Electronic Science, Environmental Science, Operations Research, Computational/Information Science, Agriculture or Bachelor's Degree in Commerce/ Economics, CA/ICWA.
A minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or 6.75 CGPA on a 10 point scale or equivalent in the qualifying degree.

A relaxation of 5% in marks (i.e. min. 55%) or equivalent in CGPA (i.e. min. 6.25 on a 10-point scale) for the SC/ST candidates. Relaxation in criteria for PH candidates may be as per the Institute rules.

Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. If selected, such candidates will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, only if she/he submits a certificate by certain date.

Those having applied to IIT Delhi MBA programmes on qualifying the CAT 2014 will be shortlisted and then invited for a group discussion and interview, which will be held at IIT Delhi.

Tution Fees: Rs. 4 Lacs for the entire MBA Full Time Programme payable in equal installments (4 Semesters)

Eligibility :
The minimum academic qualifications to apply for admission to the MBA program at IIT Madras are as follows:

• B.E./B.Tech. (or equivalent) with First Class (or equivalent) from a recognized Institution or University

• A Masters degree with First Class (or equivalent) in any discipline from a recognized Institution or University.

• Final year students (of the above-mentioned program) are also eligible to apply.

Sponsored Candidates:

Vinod Gupta School of Management-VGSOM is the first B-school in the IIT system offering 2 years full-time residential MBA Programme.

JMET 2011 Application Process

JMET 2011 Joint Management Entrance Test for Admissions in Pg in Management in IITs

Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET ) is the first step in the process of admission to the TWO YEAR FULL TIME Postgraduate Degree Programmes in Management offered by the IITs. Currently IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee offer Programmes in Management.

JMET is only a qualifying examination. Candidates have to apply separately to the Institutes of their choice. They are also advised to look up the details provided in the online e-brochure about the programmes available in the participating Institutes. There is no limit to the number of programmes a candidate can apply to, so long as he or she meets the eligibility criteria.

The results of JMET provide a basis to each participating Institute to shortlist potential candidates for conducting its own selection process like, Group Discussion/Interview etc. However, calling the candidates for such later process of selection is the prerogative of the admitting Institute. JMET qualified candidates may contact the management departments/schools of the concerned institutes for additional information, if any. It may be noted that the GATE/JMET offices will not respond to queries on the admission procedure.

Candidates should note that the final selection would depend on their performance in each of the components of the selection process.

Candidates will be required to appear in a single paper of three hours duration. The examination will be held from 10:00 hrs to 13:00 hrs on Sunday, December 12, 2010. The question paper will be in english only.

Before applying for JMET 2011, candidates must assure themselves that they are eligible to seek admission to the specific programme they are interested in. The eligibility criteria for admission to the various management schools are different in various Institutes. For more details, the candidates are required to contact the Institutes to which they are interested in seeking admission.

JMET 2011 Application Form has to be submitted ONLINE only. The application fee is Rs.350/- for SC/ST/PD candidates and Rs. 750/- for all other candidates. ONLINE submission of application can be done by accessing the JMET 2011 website of any of the IITs or IISc
