Eligibility criteria for Maharashtra State Candidate : Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the SSC {Std.X) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with minimum 35% marks in aggregate with subjects Math/Mathematics, General Science and English.

To Apply : Application Kit will be available for sale at the cost of Rs. 400/- for General Category candidates (Rs 300/- for reserved category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in Cash at all Application Form Receipt Centres (ARCs) listed below. No other mode of payment shall be permitted. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.

It is mandatory for the aspiring candidates to procure the Application Kit from ARC. The Application Kit consists of Application ID and Password, by which the candidate shall be able to fill the Online Application Form.

The candidate should sign on the printout of online filled Application Form and attach the required attested copies of documents.

The “Non Creamy layer Certificate” should be valid up to 31st March 2010. In case, if these candidates are not able to produce the Non Creamy layer certificate at the time of confirmation of application form at ARC;
then such candidates will be treated as GENERAL category candidates and such candidates will not be able to stake claim on reserved seats in the entire admission process.
• In lieu of the “Certificate of Indian Nationality” following documents will also be acceptable 1. The School leaving Certificate indicating the Nationality of the candidate as ‘Indian’ or place of birth in India.
2. Indian Passport in the name of the candidate, issued by appropriate authorities.
3. Birth Certificate of the Candidate indicating the place of birth in India.
• In case of Domicile certificate, it should be issued by the Maharashtra State’s appropriate authorities, clearly indicating domicile by permanent residence will be considered valid. The domicile certificate indicating domicile “By Choice” or “Education Purposes” will not be valid.
The domicile certificate of Mother of the candidate should have been issued after her marriage,such certificate issued before her marriage will not be valid. In case of mother’s domicile certificate, the candidate shall submit an affidavit on Rs.20/- stamp paper, stating that the person in whose name the domicile certificate is issued is the mother of the candidate and the father of the candidate is not alive.
• Candidates claiming admission against seats for N.C.C. shall submit their applications to “The Director of N.C.C.” Maharashtra State, A.F.I. Building, Mumbai Hospital Lane, Near Metro Cinema, Mumbai - 400 020.
• Candidates claiming admission against seats under centrally sponsored scheme of Ministry of Human Resource Development of GoI for persons with disabilities shall apply directly to the Principal in response to the notification of the concerned Institute as mentioned in the information brochure.

The one-year weekend Postgraduate Diploma in Patent Law & Practice commences from July 18, 2009 will provide thorough information on various aspects of patent laws to scientists, technologists, and lawyers. Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training will conduct Joint Entrance Test - 2009 for Admission to various Diploma Courses in Punjab

Eligibility:

Candidates should have passed the Matriculation or equivalent examination in Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and English.

A candidate who has appeared for the qualifying examination but whose result has not been declared shall be admitted provisionally to the Joint Entrance Test but his/her candidature shall be cancelled if he/she fails to qualify in the examination or fails to produce the proof of his having qualified at the time of counselling.

National School of Drama NSD Admissions 2009 Starts

The National School of Drama, an autonomous institution, fully funded by the Government of India, Ministry of Culture, invites applications for admission to its Three Year Diploma Course (full time-residential) in Dramatic Arts. The courses starts from July 2009 and aims at training students to become professionals in the area of acting, design and other theatre related disciplines.
Medium of instruction: Hindi/ English
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
Essential Qualifications:
1.Graduates in any subject from a recognized University in India.
2.Participation in at lest 6 productions.
3. Working knowledge of Hindi & English.

AGE LIMIT as on 1.7.2009 Minimum 20 years Maximum 30 years. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates only.

RESERVATION FOR SC/ST/OBC/PHYSICALLY DISABLED PERSONS:
