Executive Fellow Programme In Management (EFPM)

Eligibility Criteria for EFPM

The candidates for the programme should have one of the following qualifications obtained from any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a universi-ty under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, or an equivalent qualification from an institution recog-nized and approved by AICTE/AIU:

A master’s degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade point average with a Bachelor’s degree / equivalent qualification after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) (OR)
Five year integrated Master’s Degree Programme in any discipline with at least 60% marks, ob-tained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent (OR)

A professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade point average (OR)
4 years / 8 semester bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech./B. Arch. etc.) with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade point average.

Minimum 7 years of managerial/executive work experience is required.

A prospective candidate will have an option to apply to maximum two areas of specialization in the same application form. The selection process for the two areas will be independent of each other and will be conducted separately.
Selection Process for EFPM

The total evaluation process for prospective candidates will involve 200 marks. The weightage for the written test part (either through IIM Kashipur administered Research Aptitude Test – RAT or through any of the standard tests like CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE/UGC-JRF, provided any of these standard tests has been taken within preceding two years period at the time of the application) and the personal interview part will be equal (100 marks each). For alumni of full-time two-year PGP from IIMs, written test scores are not required..
The RAT will be conducted on 15 April 2018 at IIM Kashipur. RAT will consist of two sections and will involve a total of 100 marks.

Section 1 (the quantitative part) of RAT involving 50 marks, will be applicable for all applicants appearing for this test and will be conducted on Aprail 15, 2018 morning. It will involve a multi-ple choice question test of 60 minute duration and will have three parts with scope of coverage in:

a. Quantitative Aptitude (covering interpretation of data and mapping and analysis of data)
b. Logical Reasoning (covering analogies, alphabet series, number series, arguments, deductive & inductive research, Venn diagram)
c. Research Aptitude (covering basic statistics including meaning and characteristics of research, type of research, methods of research, analysis & tools for data analysis and quantitative & quali-tative research)

Candidates scoring at least 20 marks in Section A will appear in Section 2 of the test. This will be conducted in the afternoon on the same day.

Section 2 will involve the analysis of a management case. It will be specific to the chosen area of research of the candidate. The objective of the test is to evaluate candidate’s ability to assimilate and communicate relevant knowledge and insights by correlating the same with real life practices in the areas of management.
Institute may fix separate minimum cut-off score for candidates applying on the basis of their scores in standard tests other than RAT.
The RAT will be conducted on 15 April 2018 at IIM Kashipur. RAT will consist of two sections and will involve a total of 100 marks.

IIM Lucknow FPM Admission 2018

The FPM programme attracts students of the highest quality and prepares them for academic careers at leading business schools of India. The FPM program consists of two components: The coursework exposes scholars to a variety of core and elective MBA as well as Fellow level area-specific courses and provides exhaustive training in research methodology. A team of faculty, chaired by a principal supervisor, supervises the second component of independent research. The program, with its ample financial support, facilitates FPM scholars to present and participate in national and international conferences and doctoral consortiums. In addition, a rich tradition of internal seminars provides a perfect learning platform for FPM scholars.

Eligibility

The ideal applicants for the Fellow Programme are those who possess strong academic background, preferably with professional experience, and intellectual curiosity and discipline needed for scholarship in management.

The applicants for the programme must have one of the following qualifications obtained from any of the universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, or an equivalent qualification from an institution approved by AICTE.

A Masters’ Degree or its equivalent in any discipline with minimum 55% aggregate marks
OR
A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 60% marks or equivalent grade point average
OR
Any professional qualifications such as CA, ICWA and CS with a minimum 55% aggregate marks.

In addition, all the applicants must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in all their public examinations starting with the secondary level. Work experience in industry or academics, though not mandatory, will be given due credit in the selection process. The work experience as full-time executives or as management teachers in an organization/institution (AICTE approved) of repute is only considered as the valid experience.

Those who are appearing for their final year examination in the current academic year may also apply. However, their admission to the programme will be provisional subject to their successful completion of all requirements for obtaining the relevant degree before 30 June 2018.

However, for specialization in Agri-Business Management following is the eligibility criteria

A Masters’ degree or its equivalent in Agribusiness Management or any discipline of Agricultural and Allied Sciences with minimum 55% aggregate marks.

OR
A Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural / Food / Biotechnology and Allied Engineering with 60% marks or equivalent grade point average

Age Limit

Applicants must not be more than 55 years as on 30th June, 2018
Selection Process

Applicants who fulfill the eligibility criteria stated above are required to take Common Admission Test (CAT) held by the IIMs. Alternatively, those who have a valid GATE/GRE/GMAT or JRF/SRF(UGC/CSIR/ICAR) score/certificate can also apply in the relevant area of specialization.Scores of any of these examinations including CAT taken during the last two years (i.e on or after 01 January, 2016) will be considered valid.

Applicants already holding a one/two/three year-full-time classroom based PGDM from any of the IIM/WMP of IIM Lucknow with a minimum CGPA of 6 on a 10 point scale or an equivalent 3.0 in 4.0 point scale and a corresponding letter grade `B’ are exempted from taking one of the exams listed above, and can apply directly through the prescribed Application Form. Such applicants are also eligible to get a waiver of the first year course work and can directly join the second year of the programme.

The applicants short-listed on the basis of their academic record and performance in the competitive examinations mentioned above will be called to Lucknow for a personal interview for final selection in April 2018 and the successful applicants will receive offers by mid-May 2018.

Admission to the programme is open to overseas applicants including NRIs and foreign nationals. Their admission will be based on GMAT/GRE scores obtained within previous one year.
Duration of the Programme and Accommodation

FPM is a full-time residential programme. Students are expected to complete the programme in four years. However, under special circumstances extension of two more years may be granted. The students spend their first two years for course work and the last two years for research and thesis preparation.

Campus hostel facility is available for stay of married students with their immediate family (spouse and children).
Financial Support

All FPM students are provided with a monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000/- during the first two years of course work and Rs.30,000/- after successful completion of course work plus some financial incentives depending on their involvement in academic duties such as teaching, grading etc during the third and fourth years. The students are also eligible to get liberal grant for buying book/ hardware/software etc. and for attending national and international conferences. In addition to these, they are exempted from fees, provided with free lodging facilities. NRIs and foreign applicants will be required to bear all the expenses including the tuition fee.

Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, invites applications for admissions to its Fellow Programme in Management (FPM- equivalent to Phd) course for 2018 session.

Eligibility

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications to apply for IIMA’s Doctoral Programme

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM)-Lucknow will be conducting the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2017 on November 26 in two sessions at approximately 140 test centres across India.

CAT 2017 ELIGIBILITY
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons With Disability (PWD) categories], awarded by any University or educational institution as incorporated by an Act of the Parliament or State legislature in India or declared to be deemed as a
University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD,Government of India. The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate would be calculated based on the practice as followed by the respective University/Institution. In case of grades / CGPA, the conversion to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure as certified by the respective University/ institution. If any University/institution confirms that there
is no scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the candidate’s CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA, and multiplying the result with 100.

Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.

However, it may be noted that such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, only if they submit a certificate from the Principal / Registrar of their University/institution (issued on or before the date as stipulated by the respective IIM) stating that they have completed all the requirements for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification on the date of the issue of the certificate. IIMs may verify eligibility at various stages of the selection process

Candidates should note that the mere fulfillment of minimum eligibility criteria will not ensure consideration for shortlisting by IIMs

CAT 2017 Application Form Fee

The application fee is Rs. 1800 for General category candidates and Rs. 900 for reserved category candidates.

The mode of application fee payment is through Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking.

The application fee has increased from Rs. 1700 for General and NC-OBC candidates and Rs. 850 for SC, ST and PWD candidates.

The registration window opens on 9th August,2017 and will close at 5:00 p.m. on 20th September,2017. The details will be
available in the registration guide.

At the time of registration, the candidates have to select any four Test Cities as per their preference from the drop down menu. After the last date of registration, candidates will be allotted one among the 4 preferred cities and either of the two sessions. In the rare case that a candidate is not allotted any of the preferred cities, he/she will be allotted a nearby city. The candidates can download the admit cards from 18th October,2017 till 26th November,2017

IIM Raipur has invited applications for its Fellow Programme in Management (FPM). The institute offers the course in various disciplines, these are- Business Policy and Strategy, Economics and Business Environment, Finance and Accounting, Information Technology and System, Marketing , Organisational Behaviour & HRM, and Operations. The interested and eligible candidates may apply according to the prescribed format.

The aspirants should possess any one of the following qualifications:

* The candidates are required to have a Master's degree with a minimum score of 55 percent, or an equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA) . Their qualifying degree must be from a recognised university or institute

* They should have a degree in a four-year or five-year integrated programme, with a minimum score of 55 percent, or an equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA) . This degree must be from a recognised university or institute

Selection procedure: The candidates are required to submit their CAT, GRE, GATE, UGC-JRF or GMAT scores. The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their past record and the scores that they submit. The final selection will be based on the personal interview.

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur, invites applications for Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) for year 2013 .

FPM is full time residential programme of IIM Raipur. It is designed to developed high quality researchers in all areas of management.

Areas of Specialization for FPM

Eligibility

Master’s degree in any discipline, with at lease 55 per cent marks or equivalent grade point average.

Or

Professional qualifications like CA, ICWA, CS with at least 55 percent marks or equivalent grade point average.

Or

Five year/four year Integrated Masters degree programme in any discipline, with at least 55 percent marks, obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.

Or

Apart from the minimum eligibility, a valid CAT/GRE/GMAT/GATE/UGC-JRF score (last two years) is required. Candidates with PGP from IIMs are exempted from the above-mentioned tests.

Financial Support

FPM students will be given Rs.20,000 per month in the first two year and Rs.24,000 per month in the last two year of the programme. In addition to this, they will be entitled to have an annual contingency grant of Rs.25,000, Computer Grant of Rs.50,000, and a grant of Rs.1,50,000 for attending International/National conferences.

The Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) is the doctoral programme of Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB). The FPM at IIMB is globally recognized and is a premier source of rigorous and inter-disciplinary research in all areas of business management and public policy. Eligibility-:
Candidates should have
1. A Master's Degree in any discipline, (10+2+3+1 or 2 pattern) with at least 55 percent marks. (OR)
2. A professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS, with at least 55 percent marks (OR)
3. A 4 year / 8 – semester Bachelor's degree (10+2+4 pattern) with at least 60 percent marks.
We encourage candidates to submit valid test scores from either CAT (2010), or GRE/
/GMAT/GATE/JRF/SRF/NET but will also accept applications without any test score. Candidates taking the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) must have the official result reported to the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB). The GRE code number for IIMB Fellow Programme in Management is 7385.
Condition:
The Master's degree or equivalent qualification/Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification should be:
(a) from any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956; or (b) recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. Candidates who are in the final year of their Master's/Bachelor's Programmes that would make them eligible can also apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to join the programme provisionally only if they submit a certificate latest by June 30, 2011 from the Principal/Head of the Department/Registrar or Director of the university/institute (issued on or before June 30, 2011) stating that they have appeared for the examinations (including practical examinations) in all the subjects required for obtaining the Master's/bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification. Their admission will be
confirmed only when they submit the mark sheet and a certificate of having passed the
master's/bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification referred to in the certificate issued by Principal/Registrar of their college/institute. The deadline for submission of mark sheet and the certificate is December 31, 2011.
Please note that those candidates who have applied on the basis of their master's degree will have to meet the 55% marks stipulation, and those who have applied on the basis of their bachelor's degree will have to meet the 60% marks stipulation. Non -fulfillment of these conditions will automatically result in the cancellation of the provisional admission.

Selection-:
Based on the information provided by the applicants, shortlisted candidates will be called to Bangalore for a Research Aptitude Test (RAT) and interview for final selection. Selection will be based on applicant’s performance in CAT/ GRE/ /GMAT/GATE/JRF/SRF/NET as applicable, past academic performance, work
experience, and aptitude for research. RAT and Interviews are expected to be held in the first week of March 2011.
Selected candidates are required to attend the preparatory course which is expected to be scheduled in the first week of June 2011. Registration for the programme will be in the last week of June 2011.

Financial Support-:
FPM Students in good standing will receive a total support of Rs 2, 88,000/- per annum in addition to tuition waiver, to cover their living expenses, books and materials, insurance and other contingency expenses.
Also during the programme the following support is available to the students.
• Start up grant of Rs 50,000/- to meet expenses on purchasing hardware, software, data base etc.
• National Conference grants up to Rs 10,000/- each for two conferences.
• One International Conference grant up to Rs 1, 00,000/- on a competitive basis.

IIMs CAT 2009 Application Process
The Indian Institutes of Management will conduct Common Admission Test-CAT during Sunday,28 November-Monday,7 December 2009. Cat is conducted by IIMs as a pre-requisite for admissions to various management programmes of IIMs. These programmes are-:
A. Post Graduate Programmes in Management
IIM Ahmedabad PGP, PGP-ABM and PGP-PMP
IIM Bangalore PGP, PGSEM and PGPPM
IIM Calcutta PGP-PGDM and PGP - PGDCM
IIM Indore PGP and EPGP
IIM Kozhikode PGP
IIM Lucknow PGP and PGP•ABM
RGIIM Shillong PGP

B. Fellow Programmes in Management (FPM) [equivalent to Ph.D.] of IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Indore, IIM Kozhikode, and IIM Lucknow.

CAT 2009 Eligibility-: The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA)categories], awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the bachelor’s degree would be calculated based on the practice followed by the university/institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree. In case the candidates are awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the conversion of grades/CGPA to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the university/ institution from where they have obtained the bachelor's degree. In case the university/ institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the candidate’s CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result with 100.

Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. IIMs may verify eligibility at various stages of the selection process, the details of which are provided at Selection Process of IIMs on www.catiim.in

Prospective candidates must maintain a valid email account throughout the selection process.

To Apply-:The CAT 2009 Vouchers can be obtained from branches of Axis Bank and their associated outlets during the period from Wednesday, 9 September 2009 to Thursday, 1 October 2009 for Rs 1400/- (Rs 700/- for SC/ST candidates). Please note that a candidate needs to buy only one CAT 2009 Voucher irrespective of the number of institutes he / she is applying to.

Note that the Voucher must be bought only in the name of the candidate as it appears in the school leaving certificate. If the name has been changed due to events such as marriage, the candidate must show the relevant document such as a marriage certificate and submit a photocopy at the time of the test, interview and at the time of joining a programme. SC and ST candidates must show a copy of their SC/ST Certificates at the time of obtaining the CAT 2009 Voucher from the Axis Bank branches.

Voucher once sold cannot be refunded under any circumstance including but not limited to loss of voucher, inability to read voucher number due to mishandling of the voucher by candidate, candidate being ineligible for taking CAT, CAT not being a pre-requisite for a programme, and rejection of candidate registration due to incomplete and / or wrong information. If the voucher is lost, voucher number is not readable due to mishandling of the voucher by candidate, and / or candidate thinks he / she has made mistake(s) in filling out information during the online registration, then the candidate can purchase a new voucher and re-register online.

Registration for CAT 2009-:
On purchasing the CAT 2009 Voucher, prospective candidates must log on to the website www.catiim.in to register for CAT 2009. The registration window starts on Wednesday, 9 September 2009 and will close on Thursday, 1 October 2009. Details of the registration process are provided at the website given.

Test Centers-:The test will be conducted in venues across many centres. These centres are Ahmedabad. Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Delhi. Durgapur, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Noida, Patna, Pune, Ranchi, Siliguri, and Varanasi. IIMs reserve the right to change or cancel any test venue /centre and / or change the test window time and dates at their own discretion

More on cat 2009-: The duration of the test is 2 hours and 30 minutes including initial 15 minute tutorial. No breaks will be given during the test. The test consists of questions that evaluate a candidate’s quantitative, verbal, and logical & data interpretive abilities. Therefore, there are a total of three sections in the test. There will be about 60 to 70 questions in the test.

At the test venue, each candidate will be seated at a desk with a computer terminal and he/she will be provided with a scratch paper for calculations. After the test, candidate must leave the scratch paper at the desk. Rough work cannot be done on any other paper/sheet, as nothing will be allowed inside the testing room.
