The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela has released an admission notification, inviting interested and eligible candidates to enroll for its Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme commencing in the academic session 2016 to 2018. The duration of the course will be two years.

Eligibility criteria:

Interested candidates must be holding a B.Tech degree in any branch of engineering with 60 per cent marks or 6.5 CGPA. This CGPA/percentage should be the aggregate CGPA/percentage based on all semesters/years. Preference will be given to those who have qualified in reputed national or international tests for admission to Business Schools and secured high scores will get preference.

The candidates appearing B.Tech (final semester) examination may are also eligible to apply.

Selection procedure :

On the basis of applications, candidates will be shortlisted for group discussion (GD) and personal interview. In case the number of applicants are reasonably high, the department may set a higher score in academic career as the minimum qualifying criteria to be called for interview.

Final selection will be made on the basis of group discussion, personal interview conducted by the institute, academic career and score obtained in reputed national or international tests.
