The Summer School Program of the Institute for Plasma Research (IPR) will be held from 28th May 2012 to 6th July 2012. If you are interested in pursuing a research career in Physics and Technology after your M. Sc / B.E. / B.Tech, here is an opportunity to spend a six weeks of your summer vacation at IPR.
In this program you can learn about Plasma (matter in an ionized state) and its applications in nuclear fusion and industries. The course comprises of lectures on plasma science, fusion and industrial technologies, and a short project related to Plasma Science/Technology. The participants will have to work on a specific project in association with a faculty member of the institute. This will present them a huge opportunity of interacting with the scientists at IPR.
If selected, you will be paid a stipend of Rs.10,500/- for the entire period and a
to and fro train fare (sleeper class ) by the shortest route. You will also be provided with a free hostel accommodation (limited seats are available) during this period.
Eligibility :
Students who have completed their 1st Year M. Sc. or 4th Year Integrated M. Sc .in Physics or Applied Physics or Integrated M.Sc. And Students who have completed their 3rd Year B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc(Engineering) in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Metallurgy and Chemical Engineering.

For sensitizing youth to tourism
IITTM invites applications from eligible students to participate in 21 days training programme during summer vacation. Programme intends to create awareness and impart basic knowledge and skills on Tourism so that the students can work as volunteers. Programme will be organized at Gwalior, Bhubaneswar and Delhi centres.
Eligibility - Graduate or pursuing graduation, between 18 to 25 years of age, NOC from the college / institute is required for joining this programme.
Stipend - Every successful participant will be paid Rs.1,000/- for entire duration of the programme and a tourism volunteer card will be given
Selection - Selection will be made through a written examination at various centres in India on May 22, 2011.
Application - Submit application along with a DD for Rs.100/- in favour of Director, IITTM payable at Gwalior, Application form can be downloaded from the Institute's website www.iittm.org.
Last date - Application completed in all respects should reach IITTM Gwalior by 6:00 P.M. on 29th April, 2011

Personality Development Camp-Discover 09
Hospitality Training Institute (HTI) in association with Turning Point, Nature Trails and Saif Creations is organising its leadership and personality development residential summer camp 'Discover 09' at the Dabhosa Waterfalls Resort in Maharashtra during May. The six day long summer camp is open to individuals above the age of 15.
The program schedule will be divided into pre-breakfast and post breakfast sessions. Pre-breakfast event includes outside classroom activity, whereas the post breakfast session will comprise of adventure activities like kayaking, rappelling, rock climbing, mountain biking and trekking. Post lunch will be activity based corporate grooming, evening will be learning through dance and drama whereas late in the evening will witness performances by the participants.
Dabhosa Waterfalls Resort is owned by Nature Trails. Saif Creations will be handling the dance and drama sessions, whereas Turning Point and HTI will be conducting training programmes. Dabhosa Waterfalls Resort is a four hour drive from Mumbai and two hour drive from Vapi.

Summer Camps and Workshops for Kids
Vacations are already started. Tourism is on its full swing. Between these children and teenagers are joining Adventure Camps and Workshops.
