National Institute of Design GDPD/PGDPD Admissions 2013
National Institute of Design (NID), invites applications for 4-year Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD) and 21/2-year Post-Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (PGDPD) at Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Bengaluru Campuses for 2013-14 session.
National Institute of Design offers professional education programmes at Undergraduate and Post Graduate level with five faculty streams and 18 diverse design domains.
NID has established exchange programmes and ongoing pedagogic relationships with over 50 overseas institutions. NID has also been playing a significant role in promoting design.
GDPD : GRADUATE DIPLOMA PROGRAMME IN DESIGN commences with a two semester rigorous Foundation Programme followed by 3 years of specialized studies in any of the disciplines offered.
PGDPD : Post-Graduate Diploma Programme in Design is 2½ year programme offered in the specific areas of sectoral specialisation in 17 design programmes under the five faculties.

6. One Year Post Graduate Programme in Health, Safety and Environment Management
(PGP HSEM): Offered from Hyderabad Campus

National Brain Research Centre-NBRC , a premier institute for neuroscience research and education,invites applications for admission to Ph.D and Integrated M.Sc-Ph.D programmes for the year 2013
Ph.D. in Neuroscience : NBRC offers a Ph.D. programme in Neuroscience. Students from diverse backgrounds are considered for this programme. Fellowship for Junior Research Fellows is Rs.16000 per month and for Senior Research Fellows it is Rs.18000 per month.
Integrated M.Sc.-Ph.D. in Neuroscience : NBRC is one of the first Institutes in the country to develop an Integrated M.Sc.-Ph.D. programme in Neuroscience. These students are provided a fellowship of Rs.5000 per month for the first two years. From third year, they are paid fellowships on par with the Ph.D. students. After completion of the programme, the students will be awarded both M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees.
Candidates desirous of admission to NBRC should either appear for Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Science (JGEEBILS) or
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE-2012/GATE-2013).
Candidates will be short-listed for a two-tier interview based on their performance in the JGEEBILS examination or their score in the GATE examination.
