IIM Lucknow General Management Programme for Executives Admissions 2013
IIM Lucknow General Management Programme for Executives (GMPE) is a 1 year Part‐Time Programme with Four On‐Campus Modules of 9 days each, for working executives to prepare them for advanced career in management. This Management Development Programme has been meticulously designed to inculcate strong conceptual frameworks in Business and Management Skills, Communication Skills, Financial Management, Accounts, Human Resource Management, Quantitative Methods, Operations Management etc.
IIM Lucknow GMPE will integrate Advanced Management Theory, Soft Skills and Quantitative Methods with real world business practices. It has 240 hours of teaching in Four on Campus Modules of 9 days each.
On successful completion of the programme, the students will be awarded a Certificate of Part Time General Management Programme for Executives 2013‐14.
Eligibility : Bachelor’s or Post Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks (or CGPA of 5 on a 10 point scale) or CA/ICWA/CS and a minimum of 5 years full‐time post qualification professional experience as on January 28, 2013.

JNCASR Summer Research Fellowship Programme 2013
Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research-JNCASR invites applications for its Summer Research Fellowship Programme 2013, for motivated and talented Indian students in Science and Engineering.
The Centre offers summer fellowships for two months to bright undergraduate and MSc students (renewable for a second year for selected students). This programme has proved to be popular and competitive; each year, about 5000 students from all over India apply for the 120 fellowships awarded. Fifty fellowships are supported by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, fifteen by the Rajiv Gandhi Institute for Contemporary Studies, New Delhi, and the rest by the Centre. Students are placed with research groups at the Centre or with scientists elsewhere in India. They are paid travel expenses and a monthly stipend of Rs. 6000. Selected students get the opportunity to participate in cutting-edge research, and several summer projects have led to publications in leading journals. Many of the summer students of past years have gone on to pursue graduate studies and a research career, at the JNCASR or at another leading university.

Life Sciences: Infectious and non-infectious diseases, bioinformatics, developmental biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, life-history evolution, immunology, circadian biology, animal behaviour, behavioural ecology, evolutionary genetics, experimental evolution, life-history evolution, population dynamics, phylogeography, behavioural neurobiology and behavioural genetics.
Material Sciences: Including nano sciences, energy and green materials.
Chemical Sciences: Solid state chemistry, theoretical and computational chemistry, organic, physical, inorganic chemistry, organic and asymmetric synthesis, medicinal and bio-organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, supramolecular chemistry and chemistry of nanomaterials.
Physical Sciences: Condensed matter theory and experiment, statistical physics, semiconductor materials physics, biophysics, nano physics, polymer physics, organic electronics, computational material science, soft matter, semiconductor interfaces, heterostructures, physical metallurgy and transmission electron microscopy.
Engineering Sciences: Theoretical and computational fluid dynamics, flow of complex fluids, granular media, experimental fluid mechanics, thermal science, chemical engineering and non-linear dynamics.

Atmospheric Sciences: Atmospheric boundary layer, near-surface environment, radiation, solar-terrestrial relations, monsoon dynamics, modelling.

Developed collaboratively by School of Management Studies, IGNOU and the Financial Technologies Knowledge Management Company (FTKMC), Mumbai, the Programme uses standard IGNOU multimedia design and technology aided delivery systems.
Eligibility: A candidate should be a graduate of three year duration of a recognized university in order to seek admission to this programme.
To Apply : Student Handbook & Prospectus can be obtained from Registrar, Student Registration Division, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi – 110 068 or from any of the IGNOU Regional Centres whose addresses are listed in the website, in person on payment of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) in cash or through post by sending an IPO/Demand Draft of Rs.550/- (Rupees Five Hundred Fifty only) drawn in favour of ‘IGNOU’ payable at the city from where the Prospectus is requested.
