The online registration for Cochin University of Science and technology (CUSAT) Common Admission test has started and all those who are interested in applying for the same are required to fill in the application form at the official website www.cusat.ac.in. The exam is conducted every year for admission in the UG, PG and PhD programmes of the university in various streams of academic and professional education.

Important dates :

The last date of online registration is February 28.

The last date of online registration for all courses with a fine of Rs 100 is March 6.

Exam will be held on April 29 and 30.

Pondicherry University is conducting admissions to its Master of Computer Application (MCA) programme.


Eligibility criteria: The candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any of these disciplines- Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Application, Corporate Secretary, Business Administration with Mathematics, Economics, Business Mathematics, Statistics or Science with Mathematics. The candidates should have a minimum score of 55 percent in their qualifying degree.

The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance examination conducted by the university. The entrance exam will be an online based test.

To Apply : The interested and eligible candidates can apply online at the official website www.pondiuni.edu.in. Once the application form has been submitted online, the candidates are required to take a printout of the form and send it to 'The Assistant Registrar (Academic Admissions), Pondicherry University, R.V. Application fees: The candidates in the General and OBC categories have to pay a fee of Rs 150, and the candidates belonging to SC and ST categories have to pay Rs 125. There is no fee for the candidates under the PwD category.

The entrance examination is scheduled to be held on May 29 and May 30.

Eligibility:

Candidates should be and Indian Citizen.

Candidates must have passed Bachelor's degree with Mathematics / Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Engineering and Technology as a Main/ Subsidiary/ Core subject at the Degree level.

The candidate should have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for SC/ST) of marks in their Degree examination.

Entrance Examination:

The Entrance Examination will be conducted in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kozhikode centres on 08.09.2013 (Sunday) from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon.

Entrance Exam will be of 2 hours duration and will consist of 150 multiple- choice questions.

The questions will cover topics such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, General Knowledge, General English and Fundamentals of Computer Awareness at Graduate level.

The requires fee can be remitted at any branch of the State Bank of Travancore using the Bank challan which is available along with the print out of the application form.

Eligibility :

1. MBA: A pass in a recognised Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration and obtained atleast 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination in 10+2+3 years pattern (or) 10+3 years Diploma + 3 years pattern (or) B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Arch./ B.Pharm. (or) AMIE with 2 years regular full time Teaching experience / Industrial experience in the relevant field after passing all the subjects.

2. MCA: A pass in a recognised Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration in 10+2+3/4 years (or) 10+3 years Diploma + 3 years pattern in any discipline with Mathematics at +2 level and obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination.

ICFAI School of Information Technology offers MCA Program (2009-12)

Admission Modalities are with reference to ISIT MCA Test (IMCAT) 2009 for the MCA Program offered by the ICFAI University, Dehradun.

The MCA program of the University is a three-year, full-time program. It is designed to develop IT Professionals.

The program also designed to train students in the state-of-art technology such as object-oriented analysis/design techniques and programming, client server application development, distributed database development, telecommunications and local area network design and artificial intelligence/expert systems.

Eligibility
Graduation (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) from any discipline (English medium) with 50% and above aggregate. All applicants should have completed a minimum of 15 years of formal schooling (on 10+2+3or 10+2+4 basis) by July 06, 2009. Applicants who have completed their graduation on a one-time sitting basis or on a 2-year basis are not eligible for admission into the MCA Program. The selection of applicants to the MCA program is made through ISIT MCA Test (IMCAT).

IMCAT 2009: All applicants desirous of admission into the MCA Program of ISIT are required to appear for the ISIT MCA Test (IMCAT) 2009, which will be of 3 hours duration. IMCAT format comprises multiple choice questions and test an applicant's analytical ability.
