Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS Pilani) invites applications for 4-year Integrated Higher Degree Programme for B.Sc. Graduates.
M.E. in Computer Science (with specialization in Information Security) to be offered at Hyderabad Campus
Admissions will be made on all-India basis strictly on merit and suitability of the candidate.
Eligibility: A 3 year B.Sc. degree or its equivalent (with Mathematics and Physics as subjects and at least one of these two as main subject(s)). A minimum of 60% aggregate in qualifying examination is required.
Note:(i) Admissions to the M.E. program is based on performance in computer-based online test conducted by BITS. The online tests will be held during 7th-8th June 2012 at centers in following cities: Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Nagpur and Noida

Assistantship, Fee waiver and Industry internship
Students admitted to the Higher Degree programme will also be considered for Teaching assistantships to the tune of upto Rs 8000 p.m. in addition to partial tuition fee waiver scheme starting from the third year of the programme. Such selected candidates will be required to participate in teaching and other developmental programs of the institute under guidance of instructor. Students will have the opportunity to spend upto two semesters on industry internship or thesis in their fourth year. Doctoral Program in Architecture and Planning
The doctoral program at the school is conceived to encourage independent and interdisciplinary research that has relevance to the present needs of social, cultural and environmental sustenance. To keep pace with the expanding horizons of knowledge, the program provides a research environment that has strong theoretical grounding and looks for application of knowledge to develop solutions that focus on issues relating to settlements and habitat.
Eligibility : Masters or equivalent Degree in Architecture / Planning with a good academic record. All candidates have to appear in a written entrance examination.
Master in Planning (Urban and Regional Planning)
The school offers a two year Post Graduate Degree Program in Urban and Regional Planning which aims at developing students as planning professionals who would assist communities, organizations and policymakers to respond to the diverse challenges of India's rapid path of urbanization and search for innovative and sustainable solutions for cities and regions.
Eligibility : Minimum 55% of marks in aggregate in B.Arch/B.Plan or B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or M.Sc./M.A in (Geography / Economics / Sociology)

The urban design Program at SPA Bhopal aims to imbibe the knowledge to the students so as to invent newer approach to the issue of urbanity in Indian and Asian cities through process of collaboration and amalgamation between the disciplines of Architecture and Planning, Urban Design program at SPA, Bhopal is a four semester course of two years duration, leading to a degree of Master of Architecture in Urban Design.
Eligibility : B.Arch. with minimum 55% of marks is aggregate.
Application forms alongwith relevant information brochure will be available from 15th April, 2012 on cash payment of Rs.100/-. The application forms can also be downloaded from the website of School of planning and Architecture, Bhopal (www.spabhopal.ac.in) Completed application forms should be accompanied by a DD of Rs.1,000/- drawn on a nationalized bank in favour of Director, SPA Bhopal, payable at Bhopal. The Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and physically handicapped candidates are required to send a DD of Rs.500/-
