Doctoral Program in Architecture and Planning
The doctoral program at the school is conceived to encourage independent and interdisciplinary research that has relevance to the present needs of social, cultural and environmental sustenance. To keep pace with the expanding horizons of knowledge, the program provides a research environment that has strong theoretical grounding and looks for application of knowledge to develop solutions that focus on issues relating to settlements and habitat.
Eligibility : Masters or equivalent Degree in Architecture / Planning with a good academic record. All candidates have to appear in a written entrance examination.
Master in Planning (Urban and Regional Planning)
The school offers a two year Post Graduate Degree Program in Urban and Regional Planning which aims at developing students as planning professionals who would assist communities, organizations and policymakers to respond to the diverse challenges of India's rapid path of urbanization and search for innovative and sustainable solutions for cities and regions.
Eligibility : Minimum 55% of marks in aggregate in B.Arch/B.Plan or B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or M.Sc./M.A in (Geography / Economics / Sociology)

The urban design Program at SPA Bhopal aims to imbibe the knowledge to the students so as to invent newer approach to the issue of urbanity in Indian and Asian cities through process of collaboration and amalgamation between the disciplines of Architecture and Planning, Urban Design program at SPA, Bhopal is a four semester course of two years duration, leading to a degree of Master of Architecture in Urban Design.
Eligibility : B.Arch. with minimum 55% of marks is aggregate.
Application forms alongwith relevant information brochure will be available from 15th April, 2012 on cash payment of Rs.100/-. The application forms can also be downloaded from the website of School of planning and Architecture, Bhopal (www.spabhopal.ac.in) Completed application forms should be accompanied by a DD of Rs.1,000/- drawn on a nationalized bank in favour of Director, SPA Bhopal, payable at Bhopal. The Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and physically handicapped candidates are required to send a DD of Rs.500/-

Candidates are required to fill the form on a computer as per the instructions given, and email the filled form to the specified email ID. Applicants will then take a print out of the filled application form, affix a recent passport size photograph in the space provided, sign the declaration, attach necessary documents and post the complete set to Chairman - Admissions, Faculty of Planning and Public Policy, CEPT University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380009. The duly filled forms with necessary documentary proofs should reach the office by 31 May 2011.

School of Planning And Architecture Bhopal was established by MHRD, Government of India as premier institute to impart quality education and encourage research in the field of Architecture and Planning. It has now, two Under Graduate, two Post Graduate and Doctoral Program running successfully.
Institute invites application, from eligible candidates to take admission in Doctoral Program, beginning from January 2011.

Program requires at least one year of residency period at the institute for all candidates.

FELLOWSHIP FOR DOCTORAL PROGRAM 1. The school has provision for Doctoral fellowship for full-time candidates. 2. To Apply for SPA PG Architecture Programmes
Prospectus and Information Bulletin can be obtained from the bankers of the School i.e. UCO Bank Branches from Delhi: IIPA (I.P.Estate, Ring Road), Defence Colony (Near Mool Chand Flyover), Cannaught Place (Near Marina Hotel), Karol Bagh (Arya Samaj Road), Som Vihar (R.K.Puram), Punjabi Bagh (Ring Road), Banglore, Pune, Nagpur, Kolkata and Mumbai against payment of the Application Fee of Rs.750 (Rupees seven hundred fifty only) in cash during banking hours.
Requests for application form by post must be accompanied by a crossed demand draft of Rs.750 (Rupees seven hundred fifty only) on any nationalized bank and drawn in favor of SCHOOL OF PLANING AND ARCHITECTURE payable at NEW DELHI. All such requests are to be addressed to the Registrar of the School. Payment by cheque is not acceptable.
Candidates can apply online at http://www.spa.ac.in/AppForm.aspx for SPA Architectural PG Programmes Candidates, who are yet to appear for their final examinations, are also eligible to apply provided their final results are published before 25th July, 2009.
Note:
Separate application forms are to be submitted for each course. There are no restrictions on the number of courses that the candidate may appl for. Each application form must be submitted alongwith DD of Rs.750/- in favour of School of Planning and Architecture, payable at New Delhi.
Copies of the certificates, mark sheets/testimonials, etc. are not to be attached with the application.
Dates Submission of SPA PG Programme Application
All applications together with letters of recommendations, Portfolio and payment should reach SPA not later than 30th April, 2009. Online applications will close after 24th April 2009.

Eligibility Criteria for PG Architecture Programmes at SPA Delhi:
Candidates with at least 55 percent marks in aggregate at the qualifying examination (50 percent in respect of SC/ST candidates) for each discipline are eligible as given below.
